......... as Gizmo and Linney almost reach their first anniversary, they reflect on the joys of living in the same hoose.

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne You can label this one however you like. 🤣
This was outside his own house and I tickled his tummy without being savaged.

If anyone really wants a poster you can download all the pictures on the thread and make one.

If anyone likes this idea but lacks the skills to do so, I don't mind helping.

I think I will make a poster, thanks for the idea (and captions!) @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne I hope you enjoyed your Welsh cakes. My nan lived in the South Wales valleys and made the best Welsh cakes. Also corned beef pasties 🤤 When we were younger, she'd make trays of custard slices and winberry tarts too. She wasn't great at savoury cooking (corned beef pasties aside!) but she made bloody good sweet food.

EmpressaurusKitty · 13/06/2025 19:53

I might make a poster of the 8 foster cats I had before Kitty.

I’ve got photos of all of them up on the wall but I’ve been thinking it’s time for a bit of rearranging & that could work rather well. I could add their names too.

Thanks for the idea, @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne.

I am about to start making a cross stitch of Kettle so I will hold off on the poster 😄

I think I've got a good colour palette prepared, should capture his orangeness!

I probably have the skills to make a calender and get it printed if people would like one, I can look into costs if you are interested.
my photo contribution is “the shouty one”

I love a cross stitch. Is it one of those sites where they turn a photo into a cross stitch? I've done a couple of them. Excited to see how cross stitch Kettle turns out.

HumanToCatBeasties · 13/06/2025 20:58

My sister gives my parents one of those photo calendars of my niece for Christmas every year, which is nice. I've always been tempted to give them one of their furry grandchildren for fun, but they don't need two calendars, so I restrained myself to giving them a couple of photo mugs from Boris and Matilda.

My sister does calendars of her very handsome dog every year.

Although the Cats & Dragons calendar I had for Christmas is the best one ever.

I'm stuffing myself with Welsh cakes.

They're actually Tesco's ones and they're not bad. My mother's friend used to make them and they were glorious.

I buy them on Ebay as well. You can order 24 to be made and sent.

The trouble with this is that I can eat all of them in one go

Not exactly! I don't really like how they come out when it's fully automated - too much confetti and weird colours. But I did use the same kind of software and draw over the photo myself.

Don't hold your breath anyone because it will take me months 😆

coastergirl · 13/06/2025 21:39

Walter and Benny would love to be on the calendar! I used to do one of my boys for grandparents. I'll find photos. Not sure what their captions should be. Walter might be the one with nothing behind the eyes 😂Benny maybe the murderous one

I paid for a fairy tale calendar cross stitch pattern for my niece that was lovely. I started it soon after she was born and I think she was around 4 by the time it was finished. Cross stitch projects take a long time! The online ones I used were quite a few years old now, they just took a photo and made a cross stitch pattern in the number of colours you requested. They never quite got the colours completely right, but no confetti involved.

While I understand why the laugh emoji has been removed, I wish I could use it here. 😂
