As we approach the festive season, they're already finessing their plans and recalling last year's successes............

Have to say I chose naice pics to start. Brown is so obese, ragdoll needs a brush and grey is recovering from an eye ulcer currently so we aren’t looking our best 🤣

Our "numero uno" is the White One. His name is Linney.

He wasn't enamoured of the Broon One to start with, but after six months, they actually get on quite well now.

It's these two that Gizmo isn't keen on.

Herbie, my excellent cat, is quite new here too, the last pic I posted was not very flattering to him, so he would like me to post one showing his best side. He is in a festive mood here.
As yet, he has only patted at one decoration. He does like chewing cables though! Do any other excellent cats do this? We have to switch off all sockets and hide cables overnight. A right pain.

This year we treated ourself to a real tree instead of the old plastic faithful and as it’s so spiky none of the cats have done more than a few gentle pats at some low hanging baubles. Wondering if that’s the way to go from now on? Last year we had a lot of adventuring from the youngest and he KNEW he was being naughty too-

One of my fosters was a bit too keen on cables - I wrapped them all in double sided, very sticky tape & suddenly they were less fun.

Wow, I don't think I've seen such a brown cat before, he/she's gorgeous! What are their names?

I may try that as some have been chewed...DH made Herbie a 'playstation' with cables attached, see pic.
Of course, he ignores these ones doesn't he. He also ignores most of the toys except one catnip toy turtle and a shoelace.

Thanks for the kind words. @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats I don't know what my plan is. Actually have a meeting with my boss tomorrow but I don't think anything is going to change. I'm so sad, but it's been a long time coming.

@thecoffeeowl I vote for getting a fourth cat. I have 6 3/4 cats which sounds like a lot but doesn't feel like it most of the time as two mostly stay upstairs, four mainly stay downstairs and one just mooches around wherever he feels like.

Your poor sweet Gizmo @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne who would ever call a cat Thug Cat? Our dear Grumpy wouldn't. He calls visiting cats by their proper names, as demonstrated with him calling the ginger one Ollie.
