As we approach the festive season, they're already finessing their plans and recalling last year's successes............

I received an early Christmas gift this morning from Tobias, which will most likely be my best gift this year.

He has taken lately to stopping me at the top of the stairs before I come down in the mornings, and asking for a shoulder/bum rub. This morning he did that again, then suddenly collapsed, rolled onto his back & vaguely paddled his paws at me looking at me with that yearning look they have when they are after something. So stupid, stupid Allergic thought she would just SEE whether he would let her near his belly.

And he DID, clearly enjoying gentle belly rubs. In the end it was me who called an end to the proceedings, as I couldn't stay bent over like that for long especially pre morning painkillers.🎄💝

Aw Allergic that's great! It must be so rewarding to see a cat slowly come out of his shell like that, makes the bond that much more special.

@Esgaroth not that I noticed. Not sure if it happened when he's been playing fighting with Fred, or if Vixie got a bit carried away with her grooming. She likes to bite if he moves away before she thinks they're finished 😁

Just been informed that Mr Linney is currently taking a rest.

Frankenstein is being snuggly this evening. I've just given him my jumper and he's been making lots of biscuits and bread on it 😁 I love all my cats but this weird little oddball does have a special place in my heart, especially on the rare occasion he decides he wants attention and very tentatively hits my hand with his paw.

Allergic that's amazing! He really trusts you. Walter does that with me and my friend. Going to attach a pic of him with my friend tonight.

Rough day here. Quit my job. I've been there almost 16 years and I loved it. Very sad tonight.

Just heard Ollie shouting outside our patio doors.

Mrs G just told me that Ollie and Lenny were battering the door at each other - BUT SHE DIDN'T GET A PHOTO.
I despair 🤣.

I dreamed last night that the rescue I used to foster for persuaded me to take a lamb in because it would be nice company for Kitty.

But Kitty refused to share her litter tray so the lamb peed all over the floor instead.

I was quite glad to wake up.
