The last thread filled up very quickly, mainly thanks to Gizmo's adventures. He is now a fully-fledged Excellent Cat.

And it's allegedly summertime so Ho for the Hols!

Thank you @nettie434 and others. It's been a strange old week. I went to the memorial in town today to lay flowers and it was incredibly emotional.

It's funny how you say about Walter being a stalwart, when I think how long I've been on these threads it really surprises me! It's at least 4 years, probably longer.

I spotted Louie's blue bib too. Still think it's a stylish neckerchief 🤣.

Our cats are just flopping around like pre-Raphaelite ladies in this heat.

I thought you had edited the last photo to draw an arrow towards his foot but couldn't see what you were pointing to. Then I slowly realised it was a bit of raffia twine sticking up. I think i need more coffee and better glasses 😳

Whoops, I may have just spent £40 on a cat tree. They never really used the ones that I have bought them in the past but my brain decided that this one will be different and Toad especially will enjoy climbing it. In my defence it is over 2m high and he does like being up on shelves and the bannister so maybe it will get used.

Could you rebrand it as delicate human furniture? Here nothing designed for cats is used but places we do not want her...

That's not a bad idea. If I try to stop Toad using it,then he'll definitely make it his new favourite thing!

Well that explains why all the supermarkets leave out the rubbishy banana boxes for customers. They know kitties like them in hot weather. Mind blown! 🙀
