The last thread filled up very quickly, mainly thanks to Gizmo's adventures. He is now a fully-fledged Excellent Cat.

And it's allegedly summertime so Ho for the Hols!

Gorgeous pics, very elegant creatures are swans. Was wondering if they hissed at you because of their cygnets, and if so was it odd that it was not a cat making that noise?

Hello, can we please join - this is Louie, and he is an excellent cat. Despite looking like a middle aged man who wants someone to bring him a beer and a packet of B&H, he is coming up two and a right little racket.

We adopted him from Cats Protection in April after sadly saying goodbye to the most excellent of all cats far too soon.

He dances.

Thank you. Yes we do get kingfishers on our stretch, seen one perched on the boat occasionally - never managed to get a decent picture of one though.
This swan family is quite friendly - this was them two months ago.

We on this thread know an excellent cat when we see one. Louie will fit right in. I remember seeing him on his own introductory thread. He gets into some amazing positions! So sorry for your previous loss.

Izzy was sleeping peacefully on my keyboard earlier so I couldn't get onto my favourite political podcasts. I wanted to come on here and have a moan about it, but I couldn't because she was on my keyboard Confused Didn't get a photo because I didn't want to disturb her and so y'all can't see my messy desk.

Louie is delighted to be deemed an excellent cat! He did a dance then had a sit in the sun to celebrate. @Papergirl1968 i had to Google that and then count his toes - no he isn’t. (More pteradactyl if anything going by some of the squawking and flying leaps he does 🤦🏻‍♀️)

He is definitely a character - choose from lovable rogue, handsome devil, complete thug… My DP was really reluctant to get another cat so soon after losing our lovely girl but he’s been an absolute tonic.

@CatsonPollock I should have said before, we’re a BBC6 Music household, and he particularly enjoys Craig Charles’s Funk and Soul Show - there was some truly excellent dancing on Saturday night past. I wish we could post video rather than just stills here.

@spikeandbuffy I love his antics on FB, and of course the visits from Paws. I think their page and the Temperamental Chuckle one are the only reason I still go on FB.

Toad keeps shouting at me cause he wants to go into the garden but my lovely neighbours are out there and Toad is always terrified by them and runs straight back in. I don't know why, they are genuinely lovely and don't do anything too annoying.

I keep getting error messages when I try to post. Very frustrating. Anyway, we went outside, Vixen loved it but looked dead she was so relaxed. Toad and Ghost were fine till Toad got spooked and went bonkers. He was terrified and wouldn't calm down so we all came back in.
