The last thread filled up very quickly, mainly thanks to Gizmo's adventures. He is now a fully-fledged Excellent Cat.

And it's allegedly summertime so Ho for the Hols!

For the lumberjack shirts I bought a medium. The other ones are generally a small. I was a bit unsure when I bought Lexter's first one but on Amazon they had size charts so I measured him first.

Vixen was admired by lots of people today as she was sprawled across my shoulders during my various Teams meetings. They all thought she looked very smart (at least one of us did!).

I hope Leroy's op goes well tomorrow. Vixen sends him gummy love. She doesn't let being toothless stop her. Today she has tried to steal my boiled egg and weirdly licked the tip top/ice pop/ freezer pop that I had. Apparently she likes cherry flavour.

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats that's from last year so must be when she first had her! So she knew she was female and just didn't get her spayed... ?

Presumably she just wants the thread to be helpful and not full of comments about "stupidity" and "cruelty" 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh - and thank you everyone for your good wishes for Leroy. You should have seen his li'l furry face when she carried him off 😭

He ended up in the care system for 6 months after being abandoned at a vets... I hope to god he's forgotten that 🙈😱

I’m not understanding how the cat wasn’t spayed by the rescue.
Perhaps she doesn’t want to say “I didn’t spay my cat and now I’ve got kittens.”

In news of spayed female rescue kittens who are now mature adults, Cat Two has taken a liking to strawberries.
In the last one, she has returned to sniff the plate. She is obsessed with them. She knocked one off my plate and sat on it the other day.

Discovered to my dismay that Mr SB neglected to change the towel in the carrier after Gizmo's excursion in it the other day.

When the vet extracted Linney, the towel came with him, and it looked like thirty cats had moulted all over it.

Gizmo might be short haired but he sheds loads of his fur, day in, day out.

@learieonthewildmoor hee hee hee. That’s awesome! Are cats allowed to eat strawberries? My cats disappointingly won’t eat a single thing that isn’t cat food much to my disappointment.

Boone is the prince and the pea cat. 3 blankets and counting.

Leroy's home 🥰 He's done really well and been A Very Good Boy. He's had a small plate of chicken and we're currently sat in the garden. He's still wobbly and a bit spaced out, but pleased to be home.
