Odd things your cat eat...mine just ate kale.

I was having my lunch and the cat jumped on the kitchen table and before I could stop her ate a big chunk of the kale and mushroom garnish (I am vegetarian) I was having with my pasta out of my plate.

Never had a cat eat interested in veggies before...

Is that common or is she just trying to start a vegetarian cats trend?

I used to have a cat who liked sliced white bread and poppadoms.

And ages ago a cat who loved tea (couldn't put your cup down) and cake.

Our old cat went mad for poppadoms. We used to order an extra one just for her and she'd get into the bag with it to eat it 😂 God I miss her!

I had a cat that was mad for fruit flavored yogurt. She used to get the plastic containers stuck on her face while trying to lick the remains off the bottom.

I used to have one that loved boiled sprouts. I had to buy them for him specifically.

My cat went for my spiced pumpkin soup yesterday. Not sure she enjoyed it much though...

My current cat loves to chew on plastic wrapping. Previous cat used to love wotsits and those little cheese savouries biscuits/crisps?? My eldest cat was a very sneaky thief, had half a leftover beef joint before now. We had to learn to catproof any leftovers 🤣🤣 colander with a saucepan on top if anyone needs help 🤣🤣

one of my cats goes wild for any yoghurt. She especially loves Sainsbury’s cheap and cheerful yellow yoghurt pack of six and the peach one 😆

Lentils, obsessed. And a bit more normal, scrambled egg is the ultimate treat.

Mine loves lemon cake and tortilla wraps..can't take your eyes off either

Kefir - perhaps not that strange, but what I do find funny is that it's only one specific brand. He's disgusted if anything else comes out the fridge.

Our old cat loved marmite and would be found licking it from toast crusts (we obviously did everything to stop her eating this salt-bomb!). She also ate roast garlic cloves, parkin was her favourite cake and would rub herself over apples the way other cats would on catnip.

My childhood cat ate tinned sardines but only the ones in tomato sauce.

One of our cats shows a lot of interest when I fill the grinder with coffee beans. If she can steal a bean her joy is complete. She will throw it about for ages. Sometimes she crunches them up but leaves the bits lying around. I don’t think she actually eats any - I hope.
After reading your post maybe I’m wrong.
I do try not to let her steal the coffee beans though.

I had one as a teenager who came running if I opened a packet of maltezers anywhere in the house, then would sit on my knee like a baby whilst I held one for him to lick🐱

Mine turned her nose up at a chunk of raw beef but devours chunks of scone if she gets the chance. (I think I prefer scones too).

Hair ties, ribbon, anything stringy really, oh and she loves to lick a window! Doesn't even lift her head for tuna, chicken etc and only eats dry cat food - drop a hair tie though and she's there before it hits the floor!

Mine loves cheese, peanut butter and yoghurt. But she lives for broccoli! Sits miaowing until it’s cooked 😂

Mine loves to help himself from the sink - recent favourites include salmon fish cakes, cheese, mayonnaise, chicken grease/fat, cooked carrots and peas!

He also helped himself to an entire bread roll a couple of days ago 🙄😂

DC enjoyed some of the left over humous tonight!
