Odd things your cat eat...mine just ate kale.

I was having my lunch and the cat jumped on the kitchen table and before I could stop her ate a big chunk of the kale and mushroom garnish (I am vegetarian) I was having with my pasta out of my plate.

Never had a cat eat interested in veggies before...

Is that common or is she just trying to start a vegetarian cats trend?

Halloumi.

Mine enjoys wax from candles… and loves licking the chemicals off of photographs. They lose most of their colours and end up shades of grey and green.
She will find the stuff even if you lock it away in drawers and cabinets.

We also had one that loved broccoli. She used to growl at it and ‘stalk’ it across the kitchen 😂
another one loved paper. If you sent something to the printer from upstairs she would run to it and chew the paper up as it came out!

Mine loves anything with meat, gravy, but particularly crisps and gets really annoyed if he tries one and it's salt and vinegar, prawn cocktail or a lentil chip. Cheese and onion are his favourite. He stole a shrink wrapped pork tenderloin off the side once and dragged it away. He's also broken into a bag of sugar before, and a bag of mealworms 🙄

He's extremely greedy and will try and break into bins etc, no surprise he's been on a diet a few times (just from normal cat food nagging! Not human snacks) but he's maintaining now due to having an automatic feeder. I often wonder if I'd manage to lose weight if I used one 🤣

Mustard, horseradish and licking the flavour sweet chilli crisps!

Pizza ! Our used to headbutt the box until you let him have a slice.

Mine is obsessed with lasagne. He's ginger so maybe should have been called Garfield?!

My parent's cat is OBSESSED with chocolate. Obviously they don't actually let him have any as it's not good for them but they've had to actually ban it from the house now as he will go into handbags of guests and steal it, etc!!!!

My cat won't eat any human food, raw or cooked meat or gish , cheeses, milk, veg , none of it .
But if I have bought fresh chicken he loves locking the plastic tray clean. If I pit a bit of raw chicken in the tray he will lick round it but not eat it.
He will chew plastic but only the sleeves that jaffa cakes come in .

Should have said as well that my cat loves honey on toasts too!

Asparagus and long stem broccoli, particularly likes crunching down on the stem end sideways. And popadoms.

We also have a kitchen bin delver, so sometimes it's hard to tell what he's had out of there!

One of ours loves biscuits. She isn't bothered about any other human food, not even fish, but will sprint across a room and shove her paw into your mouth (disgusting) as you bite into a Jammy Dodger to try and get it off you if you're not careful. She sprinted off with a custard cream once and she actually growled at me when I tried to take it off her - only time she's ever growled in 10 years so far.

These accounts are hysterical, and utterly endearing.

I'm not long back from cooking sausages and burgers on a barbecue for the school summer fête. My boy absolutely cannot get enough of my delicious, smoky barbecue whiff. He's licked my hands and my sweatshirt fervently for the past 20 minutes.

We/ve had bread, raisins, spaghetti and red wine.

Our cat never really pays much attention to our food, but I was eating a packet of these and she went mad for them! I gave her one and she spent ages licking it.

I stupidly turned my back to get bread for toast before putting this in the microwave at lunchtime…

Marshmallows (but only the mini ones), ice cream, toast (with or without peanut butter), bread and butter, baked potato, plus more normal cat things like egg and any kind of chicken, even in curry sauce. She also loves the smell of baked beans and goes mad until you let her sniff the plate and then she remembers she doesn't actually eat baked beans. She's still too skinny. Our chonky cat only eats cat biscuits!

Crisps. Loves them. Comes running from the top of the house at the mere sound of a rustle 😂

My childhood cat loved potato peelings and chicken curry - she wasn't that fussed about other types of chicken. BastardCat loved Lambs Lettuce - which was a bit odd given his persona and 8.6kg weight.

Mine loves peanut butter, cheese, crisps and broccoli. Shes currently sat on the bed waiting for her morning peanut butter snack 😂
