Would an Elizabethan collar do?

This is DD's cat (Cleo) modelling one:

Cleo looks happy in hers. The soft collar seems to be ok at the moment. He only has to wear it for about a week. I think the meltdown is being caused by not being allowed to go out in it. The vet said he’d not be as agile whilst wearing it so I’m concerned about him crossing the roads. He’s such an outdoor cat. He loves the freedom so he’s not taking it well 🐈‍⬛

Ginger - The GingerNut aka Ruby, elderly lady whom the boys worship
Black - Delilah, elderly lady of whom the boys are scared; she doesn't like any non-humans and is touchy about them,grumpy solo (and, don't tell, my favourite, I adore her)
B&Ws - the two boys are Mabon and Harvest aka Bonbon and Harvey. Harvey is naughty and Bon is laid back.

Sorry I've not been around. I've been very very ill and can only manage online activity in short bursts. Recovering though. Helped by the Delightful Delilah vomming on the end of my bed at about 3.30 this morning. Who wouldn't be grateful for that offering?

There is no alarm sound more effective than that of your cat barfing on your bed in the morning. Don't care how deeply asleep you are - that shit would wake you if you were dead 😂

Cheddar used to start grinding her teeth before she did that. So at least I had time to wake up and chuck her off. 🤣 my bed was her favourite puking spot. I'm glad that my new duvet will stay clean now.

Nope. I still can't work out what the daft bugger wanted. He's usually a fairly quiet cat so it's funny when he starts stomping about shouting. I would say he probably wouldn't like it but Toad is partial to coffee cake and Vixen likes chocolate cake so who knows!
I am very proud of myself though. Once the cake cooled, I cut it into slow cea, bagged them up, and put them in the freezer. No devouring a whole cake in one go 😁

Yes it is! He also has an igloo which he ignores as well (unless it's got a dreamie hidden inside).

I bought the squishmallow bed for Frederick cause he loves a plushie pillow I have. He slept in it twice. Lexter used it for about a week and since then it's been lying abandoned 😞 It's so soft, if I could fit then I'd happily sleep in it. I don't understand why none of them like it, obviously apart from the fact that they are cats and therefore being contrary is their whole purpose in life.

The human four year old actually can fit in it, and the nine year old (who is the reason we bought it, he has hundreds of squishmallow plushes on his bed) has a very good try!

See now you lot are terrible as DD is squishmallow mad and I see they do a ‘large’ shark squish bed. Now wondering if I could get that for her 🤣

It lasted about five minutes. It was too big and she got her foot stuck in it!

Does anyone else find that Sheba Fresh and Fine makes their cat fart like a trooper?
Breadcat likes it but I am limiting her to one pouch of this then other wet food as she has become a pungent puss. Especially when jumping on to the sofa, or greeting me with her rear end in my face and tail aloft like a banner.
