May I ask for your (cats') recommendations for heated throws, and apologies if this has been asked before. I've been accused of being neglectful by the tribe as they don't have a heated throw, so I think I need to rectify that before the winter.

DS2 got locked in the kitchen while we were away because I forgot to tell him that the door sticks and a man had to come and get him out.

I refuse to buy our cats a heated throw - their jobs are to keep me and Mrs Grumpy warm in winter 🤣.

I've just put the heating on. I don't have a heated throw and it's cold here tonight. I was cold in bed last night too so will need to hurry up and get the winter duvet to the launderette.

Mine don't need a heated throw. I've just spent the past half hour with my arms full of Cannelloni, and because he's in segregation, Lasagne is sleeping in my bed. Mostly on my head.

He is a little babe. So naughty, but he's a 5 month old orange kitten so to be expected! 🧡

My brain is feeling a little mischievous at the moment (some of you may have noticed ), and I just had a chuckle at how your post would come across to someone who didn't know that you called your cats by pasta-related names . Do try it (if you have a weird brain like mine).

Benny has grown Coastergirl! Linney is looking lovely and Picard is looking very immovable, Shell.

You just have to love a little ginger boy called Benny.
I have yet to meet a cat I don't love including TC.

I've clearly done something to please the tribe today, they have been incredibly affectionate. I've had Vixen draped over my shoulders most of the day, with Lexter, Raven, and Ghostie taking it in turns to be on my legs/lap/next to me, and Toad and Fred have been providing bedtime cuddles for my naps.

Well, they're either pleased with me or are plotting my demise and luring me into a false sense of security.

You always know when a cat's plotting something because their face becomes suspiciously innocent.

Unfortunately, this may also indicate that they have done their plotting earlier, and have now succeeded in carrying out their plans...

I'm still alive! Vixen is back being a parrot on my neck/shoulder. Thankfully she got down before being sick this morning 🤢 Bloody hairballs! It's cold here today, I will definitely be thankful for my purring blanket if they decide I am worthy of affection.

Well I caved and put the heating on at last.
Linney is enthralled by the storage heaters.
So am I, actually - it's getting nippy up here now.

Agatha has loved the heating coming on, but not that the radiators aren't as comfy as her blankie nest, so she's spending her time between sitting on the radiators and glaring at me (they are on very low, so won't burn her) and curled up in her nest, not looking at me at all. Sigh. I know I'll be her favourite person again when the heated throw is on..

@ShoutyCatSlave - you should move her blankie nest next to the radiator, problem solved 😁

The kittens' eyes are open now and they've started walking around the cage. The girl is particularly tuned in to human activity. If I put on the kettle, she starts squeaking in anticipation of food. Her brother is either sleeping or eating. She's a lot more active than he is.

@TheLongRider They look like teeny tiny tigers. Not surprised it's the queen who has her wits about her.
