Mr SB has a very strong Scottish accent.
When we lived in London, nobody other than me and the kids could understand him.

(Well, apart from other Scottish people)

On those grounds alone I decline to believe that he is Richard Hammond.

Possibly they had the same driving instructor though.

Mr SB was a lorry driver for some years and tends, therefore, to pooh-pooh any suggestions I might make about the advisability (or otherwise) of driving through what I call floods and he calls "a few wee puddles".

A lorry driver, and Scottish to boot? No chance. Resign yourself...

I want to go to bed. Unfortunately the fitted wardrobe door is open a cat width and was not opened by me or DH. So I've got choices.

1. Tramp around downstairs and hope I find the culprit so I can close the wardrobe door, without getting side-tracked by all the shit I couldn't be arsed to do earlier and don't want to do tomorrow
2. Close said wardrobe door anyway and get woken up at 2am by the culprit trying to get out
3. Leave the door open so the culprit can get out but risk being woken at 2am by said same miscreant getting in.

Ignore the shit, that's what I do.
Eventually I do get round to it. But I am retired and live alone.
I don't have a NMC, and so far have been unable to locate a potential one
I do, however, see and hear about lots of them on MN

You should move to our village and take Picard off our hands.
I've never known a more determined NMC.

Or move to our village and Linney can become your NMC
