@TheShellBeach aw well done Linney! It’s He’s so cute and it’s so lovely when they want to snuggle up with you.

We got a new (bigger) bed and Poppy’s slept in it every night since then. She seems to have a routine of trying to nibble our feet first before getting settled at the bottom, then at some point during the night she ends up between us! It’s cute but I definitely get less sleep- other night we were woken up with her jumping everywhere chasing a moth! So be warned of potentially broken sleep lol.

Cats seem to love sitting on bin lids.

@Sweetpea1532 Thank you! Martha is 14 now and we've had her for 13 years.

For the first two days I thought Walter the flattie was going to explode with excitement! He didn't know whether to chase and eat her or lick her to submission. It took some firm words I can tell you. She now gets a regular wash from him and she tells him when she's had enough.

@Want2beme I'm quite envious of your blue bin. (Sad, I know) though I really covert my friends purple one!

@TheShellBeach - nice to hear about Linney. My mum's old cat became much more affectionate after his brother died, he seemed to much prefer being an only too.
I will say, however, that Leroy took to sleeping on the bed so well that he eventually evicted DH 😂

One thing his lordship has started to do is to claw away at the duvet cover. It'll be in shreds if this carries on.

Interesting morning.
Been away for a week so the boys were in the ‘cat hotel’. Got back yesterday morning and apparently our feeding of them is not up to the standard they had become accustomed to at the hotel.
Having tea with DH this morning at which point he says ‘what is that in the corner?’

Went over to have a look. Perfectly excised and licked clean pair of mouse lungs and stomach…
Problem is we don’t know where the rest of the mouse is. But we suspect it is inside Eko

Leroy is in kitty heaven. He's just finished a plate of raw chicken and just as he was licking the plate the Amazon man turned up with a BIG BOX 😻

This is my Master, Jinx. He is 16.5 and we have had him since he was eight weeks old. His mother was a Russian Blue, and he definitely has some of the breed characteristics - a very musical soft meow in particular. I adore him!
