Continuing the adventures of all our cats, the well-behaved and the less well-behaved.

Here is my Frank. A beautiful but if I'm honest a total arse! He is worshipped by all our household and now has a godlike complex .... but I wouldn't change a whisker

@Mamofteenager he's what my rescue lady calls a Night Fury. So absolutely stunning. My tiny panther has a little bit of white on her chest and is a little bit less fierce looking.

@pointythings what a gorgeous cat you have. Must confess never really been a "cat person" as always had dogs growing up but he is my fur baby

Saying a cat has a godlike complex is like saying... I dunno... Zeus or Jupiter had a godlike complex 😂

Lasagna is settling in. First brief face to face today, lots of miaowing and a few hisses, kept it short. It's going to take longer than with the kittens because Lasagna stands up for himself. But he is eating well, loves to cuddle especially with DS and is completely chill.

Today I had to clean Wednesday up. With scissors 🤢 it was deeply unpleasant.

Gomez supervised because Wednesday was wailing so much 😂😂

Excellent evening here with water coming through the bathroom light fitting, resulting in me ringing the fire brigade

Finally sorted thanks to the fire brigade for finding and stopping the leak
Upstairs have left the saturated bathroom carpet down so that'll help it dry(!) and smell lovely
Grandpaw was "help is on the way!" And turned up with his toolbox and a McDonald's
He loves a DIY emergency

Yay for the fire service - I have a relative who works for them.
And even bigger Yay for Granpaw!

I am a bit stressed, I wish I had a cat to come and sit on my lap...

Bonfire23, how awful for you. Thank goodness for the Fire Brigade and Grandpaw! What does Shady think of Grandpaw? It feels as if Shady has settled down brilliantly.

I took Linney to the vet so she could advise me about his matted fur.
She thinks he's got arthritis now and figured that the only option for the fur would be to sedate him and clip it off.
So he was there for a few hours but he's home now, and a bit unsteady.
He looks.................a bit bald.
I expect it'll be okay once it's grown back.
Poor old fella.

The Dreamie delivery woman has just fulfilled her duties. The cats all have to get their own little pile of Dreamies, to avoid global conflict. Lenny isn't in the photo because the little weirdo DOESN'T LIKE DREAMIES 🙀

Thank you. Linney says he would be delighted to meet Sybil. Does she like older men?
He says he would also like to come help your cats eat Lenny's share of the Dreamies.

Has anyone got a cat on Solensia injections? Linney has just started on them for his arthritis.

He seemed very chilled out this morning when I went to feed him. Purring like mad, and all his remaining fur has been brushed beautifully at the vet's. Maybe it's because the Solensia has helped his arthritic pain, or maybe it's because he doesn't have the matted fur at the back any more. But he seems very chipper today.

It's a date. 😻
Regarding older men, Sybil is 12 so hardly a youngster herself.
