Christopher Smart had clearly never met TC.
Due to popular demand (and a fear of lynching by the denizens of Mumsnet if I failed to comply) please find enclosed the 5th (🙀) thread about my NDN's cat.
For any new arrivals to this thread, TC is a stripy thug who spends most of his waking hours trying to break into our house. He doesn't get on with our cats (with the possible exception of Sybil, but only if she's in the mood). He currently is at war with Lenny.
He occasionally behaves like a perfect gentleman, his more normal MO however is to be a hissing spitting ball of teeth and claws.

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats Looking at that photo the poor defenceless soul looks alone and abandoned .......... almost as if he feels you don't love him ...... like you've forgotten him! ....like he knows you've been posting on the Excellent Cats threads 😬............... eeek! I feel he may be Plotting!

TC hasn't been around much lately. Partly the weather, but I'm afraid he's also a bit poorly at the moment. Off his food and very lethargic. On anti-biotics and has had bloods done so hopefully he'll be back on form (🙀) soon.

Poor TC. Wishing him a full and speedy recovery.

Having reported TC is ill, I've just heard cats arguing outside, and it was TC preventing letting Lenny from coming in.

TC also hissed at me when I went to Lenny's rescue. Dirty look from him enclosed.
I think he's feeling better...

The antibiotics have kicked in then. Although he looks very sad at having to get out of his sick bed to restore law and order.

He is just a shadow of his former self. Clearly he is being a brave little soldier and trying not to let you down Grumpy.

TC, the cats and humans of The Litter Tray are all sending you best wishes and love. Get better soon.

Um on the antibiotic thing - are they tablets TC has to take? Who on earth is brave enough to administer them? Have you seen TC's dad lately........?

Just discovered this wonderful series of threads. My very own 16 yr old thug cat had to be put to sleep 3 days ago. He majestically kept all the neighbouring gardens free of other cats, as evidenced by my neighbours telling me that they're getting all sorts of random cats turning up in the past few weeks whilst he was unwell and staying at home.

I've started reading the first thread and it's already putting a little fluffy sticking plaster on my broken heart just reading about TCs antics. Looking forward to reading the rest and enjoying the pics.

Worryingly @CassandraCross there was an ambulance outside NDN's house earlier today. Very pleased to report that it wasn't for TC's dad (and it turned out to be nothing serious). I can also confirm it was completely unrelated to TC imposed injuries.
