Thug cat part 5 - For he will not do destruction, if he is well-fed, neither will he spit without provocation.

Christopher Smart had clearly never met TC.
Due to popular demand (and a fear of lynching by the denizens of Mumsnet if I failed to comply) please find enclosed the 5th (🙀) thread about my NDN's cat.
For any new arrivals to this thread, TC is a stripy thug who spends most of his waking hours trying to break into our house. He doesn't get on with our cats (with the possible exception of Sybil, but only if she's in the mood). He currently is at war with Lenny.
He occasionally behaves like a perfect gentleman, his more normal MO however is to be a hissing spitting ball of teeth and claws.
For any one daft enough, here are the last 4000 posts about him
thread1
thread2
thread3
thread4
For anyone far too sensible to trawl through the above threads, here are a few of his photographic highlights. And yes, the last one is him on my kitchen table...

Sharing a joke about Grumpy I bet! Look at those saber teeth

Florissante · 30/06/2023 06:03

Practicing for a midnight visit to Grumpy.

Supersimkin2 · 30/06/2023 13:05

Bwa ha ha!

I don't think he needs to practise 🤣.

TC should have his own sitcom (catcom?) like Friends.

Six major characters (Grumpy, Mrs Grumpy, Basil, Sybil, Lenny and Karl). TC, the slightly overbearing neighbour (who occasionally forgets about boundaries) sometimes pops his head over the fence and annoys everyone by politely requesting a cup of Dreamies.

Shall I pitch this to Sky? 🧐

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 30/06/2023 16:47

The woman down the road who thinks he’s a little sweetie.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 30/06/2023 17:02

Don't forget @TCsDad 🙀

Ooh yes forgot about him. The cats actual owner.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 30/06/2023 17:12

Thug Cat Next Door perhaps?
Starring Stripes, John Alderton, and Hannah Gordon.

I was thinking more Richard Briars and Felicity Kendall as Mr and Mrs Grumpy 😂

PollyCreo · 30/06/2023 17:25

I had to Google who played the Leadbetters.... showing my age here!

Supersimkin2 · 01/07/2023 15:42

I’m not convinced Margot should be playing the MN element.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 01/07/2023 15:48

Surely Margot is the true personification of MN? 🤣.
Just heard miaowing (and spotted a paw appearing) outside the ajar living room window...

Grumpy, let me iiinnn. I'm hunnngggrrryyyy.

Borgonzola · 01/07/2023 20:31

Ah it's a beanbag. Thought at first it was a strategically placed naan.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 01/07/2023 20:55

I thought it was a samosa

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 01/07/2023 21:20

What for? Scale?

I saw a cat in dns village looked just like tc. I think it was the half Bengal she was telling me about.

I stopped it beating up a small b&w but after owning Asbo I’m an expert on conflict resolution.

That's not a beanbag Shock. That's a catnip mouse. I have one that our two go mad over.

and explains why they kept on trying to get into my underwear drawer as that's where I'd hidden the new ones Wink

And that's why TC is trying to get in. Cruel heartless Grumpy is tormenting our innocent hero by leaving cat toys tantalisingly close, then mocking the poor cat when he tries to play. 😁

RumNotRun · 01/07/2023 22:50

This beautiful boy is my half-brother's Bengal. Apparently he used to be a vicious little sod, attacking his humans the second they walked through the door, or past him, or did anything really. However in his old age, Chilli has calmed somewhat, to the point that my sister even managed to give him tummy tickles.

Sadly I am yet to meet this magnificent beast, but I worship from afar (and from safety!)

RumNotRun · 01/07/2023 22:50

Oops, forgot the photo

Borgonzola · 01/07/2023 23:26

@prettybird are you sure it's not a naan?

I think I did register that it's a cat toy but I'm chronically underslept so brain said 'beanbag' Grin

Defiantlynot41 · 01/07/2023 23:42

@RumNotRun that cat is totally T.R.O.U.B.L.E. Super cute though

Supersimkin2 · 01/07/2023 23:57

@RumNotRun such a soft cuddly little person!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 02/07/2023 08:27

No photo I'm afraid (blame Mrs Grumpy 🙄) but our front door was open this morning with Basil staring outside, and TC sitting on the front facing away from the house too.

Sybil walked out, stopped behind TC unnoticed, AND SNIFFED HIS TAIL. TC looked round surprised, and Sybil walked back in.
Mrs G observed, reported BUT didn't get a picture.
Is this a LTB offence? 🤣
