We fees ours Felix as good as it looks sachets and dry Whiskas crunchies but she doesn’t seem to like the Felix much any more! I was just looking for some inspiration of what else to try!!

Ah yes, most of mine love lick-e-lix. It's like cat crack.

They also like the Asda own brand dreamies.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 01/10/2022 14:53

Re: Lick-e-Lix Leroy just has his on a little dish. One a day then he doesn't get suspicious when we have to get medication in him 😁

orbitalcrisis · 01/10/2022 14:56

I tried a few of the wet foods but she didn't like them that much and I was told most of them are bad for cats, she now just has Applaws dried food, it's 80% meat.

EmpressoftheMundane · 01/10/2022 14:59

Chicken livers
Lamb hearts
Pig kidneys
Off cuts from any meat or fish that I am preparing

All raw.

She loves it. There is always dry on the side along with water. I. Case she needs/wants more. So far, she doesn’t over eat.

deviatedseptum · 01/10/2022 15:01

Mine only eat Royal Canin Fit 32 and if we run out and give supermarket food, they eat birds

Billyhargrovesmullet · 01/10/2022 15:02

Mine likes Aldi or tesco own make the best, has to be in jelly though he doesn’t like it in gravy. Tried a new one from the feed warehouse and he wouldn’t eat it

QuantumWeatherButterfly · 01/10/2022 15:02

Their Royal Highnesses used to be on Felix AGAIL (but only fish flavoured ones, thank you very much) and liked it well enough, but suffered from a delicate digestion. So we switched them onto Untamed to see if that made a difference. I think it does, but things are still stinkier than ideal. However, they absolutely adore it, so we're still stuck on the expensive stuff! Oh well, anything for my Princes. And at least there isn't any waste!

TwoMonthsOff · 01/10/2022 15:09

Sheba poultry in jelly and Purina One chicken and roast chicken breast ....i have given so much food away to the hedgehogs but at least it didn't go to waste (he also cannot tell the difference between aldi dreamies and the branded dreamies )
Sheba box of 40 for £15.00 in home bargains

Kumri · 01/10/2022 15:12

My cat likes Sheba or Iams gravy pouches best, but about a third of the time, he’ll look at the dish, distressed and refuse the food. If I ignore him and leave it there, he’lleat it within 20 minutes, then vomit it back up 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

So I reckon their pouches maybe go off quickly.

James Wellbeloved is great but expensive

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 01/10/2022 15:15

Lik e lix sauces just get put in a bowl for them to…. errr lick !

BlueKaftan · 01/10/2022 15:17

She eats half a Whiskas wet pouch and half a defrosted PurrForm pouch. Loads of variety and the PuffForm helps with her sensitive stomach. No more sick or diarrhoea.

Mercurial123 · 01/10/2022 15:18

Friskies Mackeral wet food
Royal Canin 12+ dry food
Katmandoo freeze dried salmon
Temptations shrimpy shrimps

DoodlePug · 01/10/2022 15:19

Purina dried food if she's desperate and 2x sheba fine flakes in gravy a day.

Dilbertian · 01/10/2022 15:19

MrCat's favourite is the mid-range Waitrose own-brand in jelly or in gravy. The dark brown packs.

TheOGCCL · 01/10/2022 15:28

Sheba in gravy not the fine flakes. Only 50g pouches so he has three a day plus Iams.

HonorHiding · 01/10/2022 15:44

Our pampered prince eats 2 tins of Untamed per day, with plenty of fishy Dreamies in between. He used to like Sheba but now turns his nose up at it.

Battlecat98 · 01/10/2022 16:11

Mine both eat animonda Carny from zooplus. It has really high level of meat. My dcats have eaten this for about 3 years, and it has given them the glossiest coat.

TheColorIndigo · 01/10/2022 18:35

Untamed. Smells so nice I am tempted to eat it myself.

Igmum · 01/10/2022 18:45

Watching with interest. Our pair are fine with James Wellbeloved (dry, ocean fish flavour only) but getting bored with Felix AGAIL Ocean Fish flavour. The Lick-e-Lix tip is great and I'll try a few different options to assuage their jaded pallets (might stick to cheaper options because I have a feeling I know what will happen if I get a pricey one).

DobbyTheHouseElk · 01/10/2022 18:48

2x Sheba fine flakes. NOT Sheba select slices.
only fish in gravy. Literally we have tried everything going. He should be more grateful he’s a rescue with high standards.

NyanBinaryJohn · 01/10/2022 18:50

Blink. Zero complaints from the little food hoovers.

Pashazade · 01/10/2022 18:51

We use Lick E Lix for drugs, grind up tablets and they get wolfed down, also works with the liquids, use it for daily metacam dose, handy stuff if rather more expensive than it used to be!

Blueberrycreampie · 01/10/2022 19:01

Felix AGAIL DD Fish recipes for as long as I can remember and Perfect Fit crunchies. She had 3 pouches every day but is only little!

MysweetAudrina · 01/10/2022 19:03

Only felix tasty shreds meat and only 2 out of the 3 flavours in a box. Arseholes both of them

Fortuny · 01/10/2022 19:06

Handmade raw, but DH gave Sheba and we've not been able to get him off it since. Structured; must be meat, heaven forbid you give fish and only ever in gravy. We buy massive 70 sachet boxes to keep costs marginally down
