Very surprisingly, given their background, mine are incredibly gentle. Never ever even hinted at biting. Only times I was scratched was in the early days if I picked Boycat up (e.g. vet visit), he would panic so much to get away that his back claws would rip me as he pushed off in flight.

Girlcat has recently taken to kneading my hand VERY firmly during cuddles, but I doubt the multitude of tiny punctures will scar.

Ilovetommycat · 17/02/2022 18:54

My two boys never ever deliberately scratched or bit. They were sweethearts and I still miss them.
The tubby boy would demand food and if ignored would open his mouth and rest his teeth on your leg to get a response. No pressure on the bite at all. Cheeky little monkey, best cat ever Sad

Supersimkin2 · 17/02/2022 19:20

Capn sliced my calf in fright when he was being collected at home by the pet ambulance after a heart attack, poor little boy.

Peeing on two iPhones 11 was a classy finishing touch imho.

I was worried to let Capn out in this wind cos he so fluffy he might blow away. But he loved watching the pigeons flying all wonky.

If Walter carries on playing silly buggers, he's going to be sent to join Queen's colony of monochrome cats. He won't stop shouting at me! He didn't have a voice when he was little. Now he shouts at the worst moments, like when I'm trying to get the toddler to bed.

Fluffycloudland77 · 17/02/2022 20:57

That’s the most appropriate time to shout. He’s read the manual.

coastergirl · 17/02/2022 20:59

Who gave him the bloody manual?! I liked my dopey cat.

Fluffycloudland77 · 17/02/2022 21:07

Downloaded it in pdf & saved it to his kindle app for reference.

pawpaws2022 · 17/02/2022 21:08

Because I don't have enough shouting here Grin
Ollie has thrown up because he's hungry. I mean he could have just eaten the food in his bowl Confused

Right! That's it! No more screen time for Walt! 😂

I thought you wouldn't notice a bit more 🤷‍♀️ Hope he's ok.

It doesn’t sound a very cat thing to do though, just eat the food with no drama or grizzling or turning your nose up and demanding a second choice.
pawpaws2022 · 17/02/2022 21:21

Yeah I mean why eat when you can throw up HmmGrin
He's absolutely fine, he's still not eaten. Probably in a strop that stinky paws is here

Fluffycloudland77 · 17/02/2022 21:26

Precisely.

coastergirl · 17/02/2022 21:33

Maybe he would be happy if Walter came over?

Walter could go play with STINKY he says
coastergirl · 17/02/2022 22:41

I think Walty and Stinky would get on well!

pawpaws2022 · 17/02/2022 22:43

Stinky is asleep still. Ollie has begrudgingly eaten after I offered a tuna topping

pawpaws2022 · 18/02/2022 08:34

Paws stayed until 7am Smile I got up to check on him at 3am and 5am and he gave me a feck off I am SLEEPING face so I left him to it

TalkedTooMuchStayedTooLong · 18/02/2022 08:56

Wanda is most unimpressed by her other post spay recovery suit ( she won’t leave wound alone and has to have cage rest at night as she has leapt around so much she’s not healing properly 🤦🏻‍♀️)

TalkedTooMuchStayedTooLong · 18/02/2022 08:58

Pic didn't post 🙀

I have a group of singularly unimpressed moggies this morning.
Karl and Lenny were out and about earlier but came in when the wind started to pick up.
All cats are now curled up inside, but looking up disapprovingly when there is a particularly loud bang outside.
I rescued TC earlier from the nasty wind and took him home Grin. He'd insisted on going out earlier...
Our road is now blocked by a fallen tree so I'm not going anywhere soon. Hopefully it will have been cleared by the time Mrs Grumpy returns from work.

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/02/2022 12:11

Poor Wanda! Her little face 🥺

It’s awful here in the midlands.

Supersimkin2 · 18/02/2022 12:30

I got up at 3am to clear my neighbour’s garden furniture cos she’s got Long Covid and can’t move. She was laffin at me for being neurotic but two 150kg bamboo planters a foot away flipped over seconds afterwards. Roaring and whistly here.

Capns dying to go out. No one wants a flying furry orange pompom past the window. Extra meal to distract.

Rescuing TC, hero of the hour. Where is the bite?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 18/02/2022 12:45

Was he ever so grateful?

Or was it a ploy to convince you to give him refuge?
