By popular request, a furtherance of the Saga of TC the Stripey.

For anyone unfamiliar, this is a story of a war of attrition over the last two years waged by a fat stripey cat on the innocent and long suffering members (feline and human) of the Grumpy household. Now running at almost 3000 posts, clearly TC would give Grendel a run for his money

All literary references welcome, we've already had Shakespeare, Saki, James Thurber, The KJV bible, Judith Kerr, EM Forster, Benny Hill and of course our own Supersimkin2 (to name but a few).

They are superb! TC looks rather disconsolate in the box. Very unlike him.

TC looks so magnificent and gentlemanly waiting for his lady love to join him on their date.

TC appears to be falling asleep this morning while on guard duty outside the patio doors.

It's a full time job to be a TC and you cant sub-contract out either or have a holiday. How he hasnt burntout is anyones guess really.

I don't think I've ever met a cat I didn't like . I'm actually obviously very amused by TC and his nefarious activities, and clearly I'm honoured when he deigns to be friendly.

Oh my! He does look quite soppy in those photos.

I can see Basil? inside the window watching proceedings.

Do your cats ever go and sit outside NDN's windows and flaunt themselves at TC?

Lenny is less impressed this morning though, having thrown himself at the window to try to get at TC.

One thing for certain is that life is never dull when you are honoured with the attentions of a TC.

It's Lenny in the background (wrong coloured eyes for Basil).
I don't think our cats try to break in next to NDN's house, I suspect the dogs would be offputting, but the 'kittens' do spend quite a lot of time in NDN's openfronted workshop.

I suppose you act as a human shield for the other neighbours, he can’t harass them if he spends all his time harassing you.

He's back in his favourite chair this morning. Resource guarding it when I try to get close...

TC spent an hour tonight, round about dusk, staring in through the doors, staring in through the windows, scratching at the door, and making one brief incursion into the living room when I foolishly opened the door to let Lenny in. His exit was accompanied by hissing .
