By popular request, a furtherance of the Saga of TC the Stripey.

For anyone unfamiliar, this is a story of a war of attrition over the last two years waged by a fat stripey cat on the innocent and long suffering members (feline and human) of the Grumpy household. Now running at almost 3000 posts, clearly TC would give Grendel a run for his money

All literary references welcome, we've already had Shakespeare, Saki, James Thurber, The KJV bible, Judith Kerr, EM Forster, Benny Hill and of course our own Supersimkin2 (to name but a few).

He's like the little child with her nose iced to the toyshop window on Christmas eve watching the toy rocking horse being made and wondering about the rich children, knowing that as they get rocking horses and roast goose so she'll go home to a doll made out of a peg and bread and gruel.

NDN just knocked on the door and said. 'Oops I've forgotten to get TC any food'.
Despite (or perhaps because of) TC's quite marvellous impression of Timothy Cratchit (even to copying his initials ). I've sent a food parcel back for him via NDN.

Poor man. Imagine telling TC there is no food.

So he's been genuinely begging for food due to starvation and you've just been ignoring him He's been attempting to leave his neglectful, dog-filled home and you've been ignoring him. Shame on you

I have to say this Grumpy your references to various literary characters and your wit and humour that comes through the Tales of TC that accompany the wonderful pictures of him and your own cats never fails to raise a smile on my face and cheer me up. Long may you, your cats and TC reign, thank you.
