Thug cat part 4. After all, it's not my Axminster.

By popular request, a furtherance of the Saga of TC the Stripey.

For anyone unfamiliar, this is a story of a war of attrition over the last two years waged by a fat stripey cat on the innocent and long suffering members (feline and human) of the Grumpy household. Now running at almost 3000 posts, clearly TC would give Grendel a run for his money

All literary references welcome, we've already had Shakespeare, Saki, James Thurber, The KJV bible, Judith Kerr, EM Forster, Benny Hill Shock and of course our own Supersimkin2 (to name but a few).

Sybil is a Goddess .

I don't know how to process your last post Grumpy Shock Is TC humping the blanket? 🙀

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 21/01/2022 18:40

Is TC humping the blanket?

Er... yes, apologies. My sensibilities precluded me from actually describing the true enormity of his misdeeds.

Poor TC. He's a red-blooded frustrated pussy-cat!

I fear you are right.
I'm delighted to say I've never had a cat that humps things. I always associate that behaviour with those vulgar dog things. Grin

My NDNs cat used to hump an acrylic throw with his gaze fixed on me ... It made me feel dirty!

Allergictoironing · 22/01/2022 10:19

Late castration can cause such "inappropriate" behaviour in a number of animals, so that may be a factor?

PatriotCanes · 22/01/2022 11:54

Well. Now you've seen the alternative, TC mawling your arm looks like a really good deal Grin

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 01/02/2022 12:52

TC enjoying the sun earlier (with Basil giving him dirty looks).
Went to stroke him; got swiped.
DW went out the front door later; TC swiped her legs.
He's obviously swiped Lenny too this morning as I just found this stuck in the fur on Lenny's back Shock.
So he's in excellent form today...

Perhaps his blanket is in the wash today?

PollyCreo · 01/02/2022 15:42

If you did a CSI-type swab on that claw Grumpy you'd find at least ten different samples of blood and skin Shock

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/02/2022 16:41

He certainly is on form today.

AnneKipankitoo · 03/02/2022 09:13

He makes himself at home .

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 03/02/2022 09:21

Yesterday I put the door on the snib, so I could put the bins out. When I came back in I'd forgotten that I'd left the door unlocked. 5 minutes later, Stripes was looking into the kitchen from the hallway...
No photo this time I'm afraid, but he really doesn't miss a trick..

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/02/2022 09:29

If you miss an opportunity like that your not a half Bengal thug anymore. Your just a chunky moggy.

-1 point for not going stealth and sleeping on a bed all day before revealing himself at lunch time.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 03/02/2022 10:06

The claw is circumstantial evidence.

It was probably the other thug that hangs around.

And yes, losing that golden opportunity is definitely worth the loss of a cool point!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 03/02/2022 12:42

Oh look. Grumpy's opened his door. Quick exit from his car roof and another bid for entry coming up...

He really is a beautiful boy.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 03/02/2022 13:26

He's been at the front door ever since, asking if Sybil can come out to play Grin.

In all the three years of this saga, has anyone suggested just letting him into the house for a look around?

He'll probably look the place over and sneer in derision at your sub-standard accommodation. Obviously nothing would ever be good enough for his TCness.

You can give him the guided tour of the house. Then Mrs Grumpy, you and your cats can form a guard of honour as he exits with a swift kick up his arse the font door.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/02/2022 13:29

Agreed, he’s a fine figure of a cat.

He's managed it himself a few times already.
He still keeps coming back for more Grin

Play??? Wink Blush

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 03/02/2022 15:07

I sent the 'play' picture to NDN.

He's responded with the attached picture, saying that TC is now worn out and asking what's he been up to with Sybil? Shock
