Thug cat part 4. After all, it's not my Axminster.

By popular request, a furtherance of the Saga of TC the Stripey.

For anyone unfamiliar, this is a story of a war of attrition over the last two years waged by a fat stripey cat on the innocent and long suffering members (feline and human) of the Grumpy household. Now running at almost 3000 posts, clearly TC would give Grendel a run for his money

All literary references welcome, we've already had Shakespeare, Saki, James Thurber, The KJV bible, Judith Kerr, EM Forster, Benny Hill Shock and of course our own Supersimkin2 (to name but a few).

I see something has taken a small chunk out of TC's ear. Was that your boat propeller or is there some animal stupid enough out there to have a go at him?

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/01/2022 19:19

Maybe we should crowd fund for some plastic surgery ear repair so it doesn’t hold him back.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 12/01/2022 19:57

Well I've found a photo from 1st July last year when the ear dents were visible so it isn't recent.

So perhaps an old injury from before he, ah, grew into the fine fighting specimen he is today. Too old to match to the size of Sybil's claws now anyway Grin

Allergictoironing · 13/01/2022 09:11

A fine defender of his minions and subjects. Possibly from a run in with the white bastard-cat who was responsible for poodlegate?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 13/01/2022 09:27

TC and the Grumpy cats have an entente uncordiale, so any unpleasantness tends to be no worse than the odd hiss or slap.
His ear was probably a result of the grey and white thug who is only rarely spotted now.

NDN’s coffee machine is nowhere near as impressive as yours.

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/01/2022 10:25

Ndn does have TC to run though.

AnneKipankitoo · 13/01/2022 12:19

Lovely whiskers ♥️

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 13/01/2022 16:40

I am now officially TC's best mate Grin.
Went next door to let the dogs out again today and TC was outside yelling at me to let him in.
Straight into the kitchen, purring his head off, lots of head butts and even accepted being picked up and cuddled without violence Shock.
He then very clearly pointed out to me the cupboard his food was stored in...

Mercenary? Surely not!

That’s the standard Bengal greeting 😂 “I fucking love you! Your the best human ever!”

AnneKipankitoo · 13/01/2022 17:02

😻
Hilarious @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats
Do not get lulled into a false sense of security.

He'll make use of whoever happens to be availableGrin

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 20/01/2022 17:29

I'm incapussitated in NDN's house Shock

The beast is purring (no doubt because the dogs are outside barking and can only get back in if I get up)

How long does it take a dog to die of exposure?

PatriotCanes · 20/01/2022 19:53

He must be slightly discombobulated. Usually he tries to get into your house and you fight him off. Now you're letting yourself into his house and he's loving it?

AnneKipankitoo · 21/01/2022 14:09

Wonder how TC will be with your neighbours when they return?

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/01/2022 15:45

Ecstatic to see them. It's how bengals get away with their behaviour.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 21/01/2022 17:53

ewwww.
Just been round to NDN's. The disgusting little beast is getting FAR too friendly with a blanket 🤮

NOOOOOO Shock
