Does your cat follow the “if I fits, I sits” rule?

Mine doesn’t. I have several boxes at the moment thanks to my online shopping addiction amazon, and yet Toots has shown no interest what so ever in sitting in them.

She would much rather lay in the windowsill, on the floor or sprawled on my bed

Every single time they love a box no matter what the size

Not boxes but she is quite fond of an Iceland reusable bag. I think she likes the bright orange, it’s shows off her black fur well.

Not my cat - but one who visited me for a while a few years ago when his humans had the audacity to reproduce. Loved boxes. This does NOT look comfortable though! He was asleep.

Nope. Mine is a stretcher. He wants as much space as possible so he can engage looooongboi mode.

I always love this story I read of a family that panicked because they couldn't find their kitten. They found her eventually - inside a tissue box.

Ours do. I use those fold out crates as washing baskets. I decided to give them an empty one each to play in. I put the crates down (not too near each other). They each selected one and all was calm... for about 5 minutes until they each started wanting the one that the other had. The crates are identical!

The cat I had growing up used to like a jigsaw box. Jigsaw pieces optional.

No. My old boy has never tried to sit in a box etc. His favourite place to sit is on plastic bags or paper and will make sure he can fit all 4 paws on the paper before sitting down. He loves stretching out on the tiled kitchen floor and the cold leather sofa. I think he might be defective.

Ernie lived boxes but Colin much prefers the dishwasher, he is obsessed with it

Bags, boxes, bins - or if nothing else available, will sit on cardboard (likes a warm bum?!)
