@Papergirl1968 Paws would be "I take this. And that. Snack for later" and lift both of them. He tried taking a pack of wraps the other day Confused

Supersimkin2 · 26/10/2019 22:46

Cats dream in black and white, that I know. I reckon Matt has seen that you are having your Dreamies, prompting the natural enquiry about where his packet is.

Pfff. Paws' so-called humans are not worthy of the name. No wonder he's on the rob. He ought to stay in the house with you both at night.

coastergirl · 27/10/2019 08:04

@Fluffycloudland77 he's always had the tip of his ear missing. It was like that when he was rescued as a tiny kitten. It's a very ragged edge, poor baby. It's always Bertie who instigates the cuddles, but Walter graciously accepts. They are very sweet.

coastergirl · 27/10/2019 08:09

@ClientListQueen my girl Helix who we lost last year used to love plain tortilla wraps. Packets had to be hidden away because she searched for them. She took a packet out of the bread bin once and tore it open. She was the same with dried porridge oats! Came downstairs once when heavily pregnant to find she had pulled a bag of them down off the worktop and torn it open, then seemingly run around the house with it leaving a trail of oats behind her! They were everywhere. She was fab. A tiny little calico with bags of character, very chatty and a formidable hunter.

Supersimkin2 · 27/10/2019 08:54

Lovely Helix!

Hope everyone kipped well with their kitlings. Nothing like Sunday snuggles.

Allergictoironing · 27/10/2019 09:53

Was up half the night with stomach problems, woke up to see someone sitting by my feet observing me. The moment I spoke, he oozed up beside me for strokes & cuddles. Finally had to go to the loo, back in bed & he was there for more cuddles. Took me about an hour before I could tear myself away, and that was only because I needed TEA.

They were a good couple of hours late for breakfast, but he didn't seem to care as long as I was fussing him, and as neither came down for supper last night until bedtime I wasn't worried they were starving!

Supersimkin2 · 27/10/2019 16:39

Bit of furry healing does the trick every time. Hope you feeling slowly better courtesy of Boycat.

Allergictoironing · 27/10/2019 16:49

Yes thanks, may have been something I ate because once I'd finished throwing up (for half an hour non-stop!) I felt instantly better.

He spent most of the morning wanting sofa cuddles too, which of course he got.

Dreading tomorrow morning though. Been between assignments for second half of this week so been home most of the time, but new one starts tomorrow so bracing myself for him following me around the house crying once he realises I'm doing "work morning routine" Sad

Supersimkin2 · 27/10/2019 17:38

Think of the snack tokens you can earn! Explain to Boycat. He will understand.

ClientListQueen · 27/10/2019 19:15

Hello Canteen Supervisor. I hope the kitchen porter is behaving herself.

Allergictoironing · 28/10/2019 07:30

Explain to Boycat. He will understand

This is Boycat we're talking about, he barely understands anything! I'm impressed he's worked out that the routine is different on work mornings, but that's probably because his second bed cuddle (post shower) gets cut short.

Supersimkin2 · 28/10/2019 07:42

The Post-Breakfast cuddle sets everyone up for the day. Can you work in bed?

Allergictoironing · 28/10/2019 18:21

No chance! New assignment, completely office based, no access to company systems out of the office. Plus no laptop yet ( and even then they have to be locked away in the office overnight), login, or even building pass.

Plus today's Brexit news may mean everyone in the team being let go as it's a Brexit prep role.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/10/2019 19:07

Ffs I wish they’d just shit or get off the potty.

We registered for a postal vote after the last elections moved venue.

Supersimkin2 · 28/10/2019 19:13

When is the sodding thing. It's a whole new definition of boredom, isn't it.

Mr C was a Remainer. So are George and Molly, my mate's terriers who are Rumanian rescue dogs. Without EU, no pet passports = terrified animals in the plan hold by the engine for 14 hours and 6 months in pet prison by the bins at Gatwick.

Supersimkin2 · 28/10/2019 19:33

I only read proper news now.

Two years ago, a man dressed up as a Ferrero Rocher.

coastergirl · 28/10/2019 19:53

It really is a whole new level of boredom. We are remainers in this house and @Supersimkin2 has just given me another reason to be that way. I hadn't thought of that!

Papergirl1968 · 28/10/2019 19:57

Lana, so lovely to see Mr C in all his glory on an old resurrected litter tray thread called I Love My Cat So Much It Hurts.
Ollie is there too, along with Little M, and Leroy, and lots of others.

Supersimkin2 · 28/10/2019 20:14

Thanks Paper. How you and Marvellous Matt today?

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/10/2019 20:19

I’m going to say Asbo would be a brexiteer, the only sharing done here is dhs dinner.

Here he is worrying he won’t get anything. He didn’t.

Papergirl1968 · 28/10/2019 20:21

Matt is indeed marvellous as always, and Socks is super!
Got to throw her favourite pink elephant toy out when she’s not looking though - she bites it, and kicks of, and growls at it, and the poor thing’s innards are coming out!

Papergirl1968 · 28/10/2019 20:22

Aww, lovely pic Fluffy.

coastergirl · 28/10/2019 20:40

Asbo is so handsome!

I had to go to that thread to see Mr C. He was so beautiful. Also had to contribute with my boys.

ClientListQueen · 28/10/2019 20:53

Paws is being a heartbreaker
