How about down my way Lana - OK it would be as many sea gulls as pigeons (they love the Thames) and we have a great vet who is very much a cat person and has been known to kiss a cat who was a complete terror and renowned for ripping up hands and arms.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/12/2018 09:14

Take care Lana. With all your volunteering and thinking about others you are the last person who deserves such shit (not that anyone deserves it, but I hope you all know what I mean). Flowers

LanaorAna2 · 02/12/2018 10:57

Trust me Spart, I am thinking some pretty dark thoughts about society's most vulnerable at the moment Grin Grin

I've got to do something about Mr C's snoring. I dreamed I was tied to a pneumatic drill.

Allergic oooh, sounds lovely. Maybe Nurse Lee could move jobs.

"If you could just open the window mama for vampire cat?"

What a gorgeous fella!

Ollivander84 · 02/12/2018 23:12

Don't make his head any bigger Grin I am not letting him go and play in the dark which is infuriating him

After another night of sharing the pillow with a chainsaw, Mr C is off to the vet tomorrow. They want to increase his thyroid meds to triplemax speed, but I've asked them to do more bloods to double check.

He rejected dreamies this am.

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 13:11

....rejected dreamies....??

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 13:13

(My bolding.)

LanaorAna2 · 03/12/2018 14:41

Yup. What with that and the frightful raspy snores, he's not on peak form.

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 15:09

Oh Dear.

LanaorAna2 · 03/12/2018 15:12

He's off his oats generally, but the vet told me to stand firm because if he eats my food, he's not really that ill. But I think Dreamies is a sign?

Ollivander84 · 03/12/2018 15:38

Possibly. Or he's trying to get you to offer tasty morsels Wink
Ollie climbed INTO his food cupboard today and starting rooting through stuff with his paw. If he develops thumbs then I'm doomed

LanaorAna2 · 03/12/2018 15:51

Oh God that is a worry :) What about installing a meat safe?

Ollivander84 · 03/12/2018 16:00

I never thought I would have to use the words "get your fluffy bum out the cupboard"
He gave me a Hmm look of "I CHOOSE" and shuffled backwards out of it, knocking the whole lot over

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 16:23

Do you ever use......NO, Ollivander?

LanaorAna2 · 03/12/2018 16:25

As a bon viveur and gastronomy enthusiast, he was considering the menu options in an expert and educated manner. He may not have appreciated his deliberations being so rudely interrupted :)

He'll be back in there the moment you go to work.

Ollivander84 · 03/12/2018 16:34

cozie Grin yes. Many, many times
I either get an injured big eyes "wasn't me mama" look or he screams in terror and hides under the bed
Neither are great options...

Weezol · 03/12/2018 16:37

O He's just trying to exercise some control over his environment, what with you being unwilling to control the weather for him and mabush being in mortal peril. On top of which you come home wafting the scent of Other Cats around and are being unreliable with window duty.

Poor, poor Ollie. Life is just so difficult for the lad.

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 16:45

Better options than being ignored................ 😀

Ollivander84 · 03/12/2018 16:46

He's hard to ignore with the wailing and rubbing his face over my nose Grin

My attempts to discipline Mr C are an embarrassment to us both.

He does pay attention in emergencies tho'.

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 17:38

Who decides if it's an emergency? 🙂

LanaorAna2 · 03/12/2018 18:39

Any sign of the new neighbours? They're not catowners are they?

LanaorAna2 · 03/12/2018 18:41

Me, C, I can say smugly. You're right as ever - if you really mean it, they can tell. I've never shouted twice. And I'd annoyed if I had to - he knows that.
