Yes... a previous cat liked the tree. We put bells on the bottom branches so we could hear her!

I deliberately chose the black kittens so I could call one Sirius. Our first ever cats were black too and it wa wonky recently I heard they get overlooked. Actually, FatCat was the last kitten in the litter and had been rejected for being "too dark" and he was a tabby.

Let's just say I've realised that, despite having 2 sets of 2 cats before, I've never had a pair of kittens 😂

The spaniel is scared of them (he grew up with cats so should know better) and it's not helped by the fact that he has a very waggy, very feathery tail...! They've been really good together actually, he's snapped at them (sound, not biting) but hasn't gone for them at all. Not that I'd leave them alone.

All in all, they've settled in really well and we are all happy again after a shitty year :)

And they chase a laser pointer! FatCat used to look at me in disdain when I tried it and the dog doesn't even appear to see it so it's finally getting some use!

They've not got the hang of the whole overlord thing yet. I mentioned to Sirius that he was sitting in my seat and he moved. I'm sure they'll work it out eventually.
