Ollie has already eaten more today than my 2 do in a day between them! They weigh 10.8k collectively, so roughly 3 x Ollie.

They get 1.5 pouches (split between morning & night), around 100g dry (topped up ad lib) and either 1-2 Webbox Sticks or a Lik e lix between them. Oh and some Dreamies of course.

Where does he put it all??? Halloween Confused

Ollivander84 · 28/10/2018 18:01

I have not got a clue
I don't want to restrict him as he needs the weight but I was a bit when he ate a full pouch and then miaowed "mama" at me because he wanted more
He starts purring when you put food down and purrs the whole time he's eating. It's not even like he runs around to burn loads of calories he's a sloth

Bet is the same weight and build as Olli, and she's going through 3 pouches plus tons of dried, she's bulking up for the winter, did the same last year.

Ollivander84 · 28/10/2018 20:44

Could definitely be because it's dropped colder too. Plus the steroid hunger
He should be waddling the amount he shovels down

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 28/10/2018 21:01

I thought he did waddle.(In a skinnymalink sort of way............😀)

Ollivander84 · 28/10/2018 21:05

More of a bum wiggle when he runs. Just arriving home... let's see how empty the bowls are

Guiltypleasures001 · 28/10/2018 22:02

I,posted about her being so skinny and a bit threadbare during the heatwave
Now she's back to glossy shiny coat, and quite bulked up 😁

Ollivander84 · 29/10/2018 08:40

Pleading eyes today. No howling last night, he slept curled up next to me without waking

No food needed it sounds like.🙂

Ollivander84 · 29/10/2018 13:03

He had a small snack before bed
My neighbours are looking after him tomorrow night and Wednesday morning as I'm away

cozietoesie · 29/10/2018 13:17

A small snack?? Of what did it consist?

😎

Ollivander84 · 29/10/2018 13:24

A soup and a handful of whiskas treats

Happy National Cat day to all. Mr C is hysterical with glee.

Mr C has just sneezed for the third time in 24 hours. He is vetting tomorrow - should I mention it?

He does that head thrown back-quivering-will he-won't he-nose wrinkle for hours before the finale but I don't think it's for show.

Toddlerteaplease · 29/10/2018 19:33

Trying to read this thread but Cheddar, (who is draped on my chest) keeps reaching out and scrolling with her paw and shutting the thread down! Anyone else's cats smart phone trained?

cozietoesie · 29/10/2018 19:43

Yes. You should mention it. Maybe phone beforehand.

LanaorAna2 · 29/10/2018 20:53

Thanks muchly.

Mr C's got to go on dry food. I have been resisting as long as possible but the flystrike is too hard to cope with now. Sick of being left helplessly retching and cleaning up blowfly eggs every 5 min while dealing with a repulsive family crisis.

He won't eat in one go, so it's got to be dry.

Ollivander84 · 29/10/2018 21:02

Ollie would rather eat wild freedom dry than most other stuff. I find him staring at the cupboard
I haven't told him I'm leaving him for 24hrs yet

LanaorAna2 · 29/10/2018 21:37

Good to know. Vet primed to see Mr C first thing tomorrow.

Give me strength to get him out of bed before 10am.

Ollivander84 · 30/10/2018 09:10

What do you mean I have to sleep on my own for a night?!

Woken in the middle of the night by strange sort of strangled yowling noises coming from the floor. Bear in mind that it took months before I had any vocalisations from either cat and both are incredibly quiet when they do "talk", so I feared the worst.

Sat bolt upright in a panic & turned the light on, only to see Boycat on the floor crouched over a disemboweled toy mouse, tail lashing and a wild look in his eyes. I was so proud of him for showing normal cat behaviour, but at the same time wished he'd chosen a different time & place. I should point out that he hadn't disemboweled the mouse then, the sad saggy remains have been in that state for ages since Girlcat decided to remove the catnip contents.

Toddlerteaplease · 30/10/2018 10:21

I got woken at 4 am by cheddar projectile vomiting on my bed. I wouldn't mind but I only changed the sheets yesterday.

Allergictoironing · 30/10/2018 11:05

Yuk!

Give Boycat his due, he only ever seems to vomit downstairs in either the living room or hall (both laminate flooring).

Weezol · 30/10/2018 12:10

It's all too, too much here. One is utterly exhausted.
