Ollie woke me up by screeching in my face this morning. Bored, apparently

d).

The sun is now out so I have been bopped and allowed to give fusses.

I hope you're properly appreciative.

Weezol · 17/10/2018 18:01

I am. We have been playing football for the last half hour and I have been allowed a rest.
I'll cease to exist in 20 minutes anyway. My friend is coming round and he is her favourite person in the world ever ever ever (after Grandmiaow, Grandpaw and the relief post man).

There will be a love-in during which I'll slope off to the kitchen and make a brew. I know my place.

I occasionally a bit emotional reading about how much Ollie adores his mama.

Ollivander84 · 17/10/2018 19:18

Weezol - at least you don't get woken at daft hours of the morning because a cat is staring at you adoringly. Or panicking because you sneezed
Or licking your nose "because I missed you"

In other news I had an email today that 4 of my photos are being published

cozietoesie · 17/10/2018 19:27

Well done!

Toddlerteaplease · 17/10/2018 21:46

@Ollivander84 I get woken several times a night by Cheddar trying to kill me. She says she's making biscuits to show how happy she is. Hmm

Ollivander84 · 17/10/2018 21:54

toddler. Why do cats insist on walking across your head or kneading your chest?!

Look at the lovely fudgy Weezolpaw!

Yay O re publishing. Don't give them all the rights - the days are long gone where you expect to get, er, paid for work, but you might in the future from someone else, so hang on to your stuff, you never know when it will come in handy.

They are making money out of you, basically, which is fine - up to a point. You want to sign off on 'one use from X to X date only in UK only'. They can pay you if they want to use them again.

LanaorAna2 · 17/10/2018 22:29

Or pay the snapper. Either way, don't give it all away for freeeee. No good comes of it.

Ollivander84 · 17/10/2018 22:29

Thanks they're going in a magazine (digital and print)

LanaorAna2 · 17/10/2018 22:46

You can get a swanky West End agent! Lunches!

Well, those days are over even tho models never ate anything anyway :) Mind you a toastie & latte and a chance to hang out with other models is not so bad eh.

You could corner the market as 'supermodel with supercat'. As any cat will tell you, everyone needs a convenient niche.

Ollivander84 · 17/10/2018 22:52

Ollie agreed if he's paid in food
They're publishing 4 pics but each pic is a4 so full page of the magazine

Ollie demanded I open the "narnia thing" this morning (walk in storage cupboard which needs clearing out)
He then demanded help because he was stuck

LanaorAna2 · 18/10/2018 10:02

A double spread, well done.

Mr C nicked ham for breakfast. Very purry. He insisted on kipping on my head all night, which was surprisingly comfortable, bar the huge paw up my nose.

Ollivander84 · 19/10/2018 00:21

We are back to howling at night here. Ollie, not me

OP posts:
Weezol · 19/10/2018 08:31

Have you tried howling back? I did and Weezolcat was somewhat stunned.

Ollivander84 · 19/10/2018 10:19

I even tried my voice that stuns a horse into shocked silence
It got me an indignant miaow
Honestly I absolutely bollock him and 60 seconds later he's "MIAOWWWWWWWW"

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/10/2018 11:00

Don’t worry, my cat answers back too.

LanaorAna2 · 19/10/2018 11:34

Earplugs.

Ollivander84 · 19/10/2018 12:21

I worry I won't hear my alarm with earplugs. He does also clamber on my head to tell me of his disappointment (at what, I don't know)

Papergirl1968 · 19/10/2018 17:32

I found a dead baby mouse by the back door.
Cheers, Matt!

Weezol · 19/10/2018 18:43

He has brought you an amuse bouche. Sophisticated Matt.

Sorry.

Ollivander84 · 19/10/2018 19:40

Why is my cat eating baked bean sauce? And purring as he does it?
