She might just be lithe and youthful, but you could always ask the vet. Is she quite a big cat?

All the best Cosie. I hope that you are OK. Take care Flowers.

Weezol · 21/06/2018 00:45

So, on Wednesday we again pretended to be A Good Cat (see photographic evidence). I was shouted at around about ten past midnight.

A veryloving, yet somehow demanding, look.

Weezol · 21/06/2018 20:17

Indeed. "Look at me, I'm being good. LOOK AT ME!"

I love her so much and things are getting much better, her violence levels have dropped massively in the last few weeks. I haven't bought a box of plasters for nearly a month.

I would like to find the individuals who hurt her and lock them in solitary in a small room for a few days though. I'd play 90's Europop alternated with parliamentary debate and dogs barking at them from 6.30 am until midnight. Their only reading matter would be reports from the European parliamentary debates on import/export rulings from Europe to and from Africa and India 1995 to 2000.

LanaorAna2 · 21/06/2018 20:20

Grin and cheap catfood to eat.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/06/2018 21:30

That’s awful, I didn’t realise she was an abused cat.

Poor love.

LanaorAna2 · 22/06/2018 22:37

You've done an amazing job with her. And saved a lot on medical dressings too Grin

She is a very beautiful cat.

Ollivander84 · 22/06/2018 23:11

O has had some food, gallivanting and now cuddles. Perfect day for him Grin

O If Kiss had ever had a cat. Grin

LanaorAna2 · 23/06/2018 19:26

Asbo knows that being adorable is enough.

Just tottered back from my shift at the charity shop - volunteered there for years. When I got in, almost every teen gentleman in S London was merrily riffling the rails for Ralph Lauren discarded by bankers. I said stoutly to the manager Don't worry you can have lunch now, I am here to guard shop for you (someone had a go at her the other day).

Tallest, toughest urban teen just looked at my small, round blinky self and started laffing. All his mates joined in.

Bloody cheek. The manager gave him a Lidl carrier for his Lauren to express our disapproval Grin

Weezol · 23/06/2018 20:54

Thank you for the compliments for She Who Must Be Obeyed.

We had another breakthrough this week - I have been leaving her carrier/basket (posh tent like collapsible affair) assembled in the living room for quite a long time to try and break her thinking that every time we use it, she's going to get left elsewhere and becoming distressed and regressing.

Went in to the room the other day - no sign of her anywhere, not even in her 'Panic room' (bottom of cupboard in desk, back removed for ease of ingress).

Eventually found her in her basket, looking out at me with slow blinks 'What's up Mama? Didn't hear you calling, I was having Big Sleeps. You look a bit wibbles, it's okay now. Is nice and cool in here'. It is her new favourite place.

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/06/2018 21:41

Urgh, teens.

Asbo knows too much and as such is unsackable

LanaorAna2 · 23/06/2018 22:32

They love it, W. Have you given her a box yet.

Mr C doesn't bother being adorable any more. He used to roll onto his back, wave his legs in the air and waggle his furry belly, to the squeals of a spinster hysterical with love (me). Still puts out for visitors. I'm not worried about another woman, however, no one else would put up with his wind.

Weezol · 24/06/2018 09:47

Boxes and carrier bags were equally popular in the early days. She is now a plastic bag only cat after an incident with a large Primark bag - she put her head through the handles and then had ishoos because the bag was chasing her. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Weezolcat!

LanaorAna2 · 24/06/2018 10:08

The big brown one that rips when you put a tissue in it? Yet the handles are made of space rocket wire? Oh yes.

Mr C's made himself a throne on the clean washing. My lone household tip for the catlover: fold dark clothes inside out so they only gather fur when you put them on. Wash bedlinen twice to get the fur off. Works a bit.

Mind you, I hoover this place to within an inch of its life every 3 days and still leave the house looking like a harassed pompom.
