PB is back in the 'close' LWT. He gets a view of me from it. Smile

That is Another Good Sign.

O keep strong, the worst is over. Bloody jobs, eh.

This from my new philosophy course - talking about humans and animals.

'speciesism, favoritism of our species
akin to favoritism of a race without a moral justification'

Ha! I invented this word ages ago to explain to my goddaughter why people idiotically thought animals were thicker than humans. Glad to see Harvard has come in, albeit late to the party.

Useful word of the day for us lot, I would think.

Papergirl1968 · 27/02/2018 20:39

Could we get a new pic of PB, at your convenience, Cozie? it’s been a while...

LanaorAna2 · 27/02/2018 20:41

O I don't know if this is any good to you, but I know someone with two cats who gets her vet's bills helped out with by the local RSPCA.

National RSPCA has a pretty bad rep, but the local or county ones have a duty to help local pets in need - only some local ones, though. AFAIK you don't have to be stony broke to qualify, and Olli is certainly the most deserving case I can think of. Why not email them and see.

Mr C has just made a fuss about only having 3 types of food. He said I was speciesist.

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/02/2018 20:44

Maybe he will start identifying as human L

LanaorAna2 · 27/02/2018 20:46

Yes, C, no speciesist lack of representation on this thread, please Grin

cozietoesie · 27/02/2018 21:12

Of course. IDC. Smile

F Grin I think that boat's sailed for you and me, love.

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/02/2018 22:02

Yes, true enough.

Ollivander84 · 27/02/2018 22:19

I'm home to no warm greeting Sad

LanaorAna2 · 27/02/2018 22:36

Take advantage of the peace & quiet, I would. Get a cuppa and have a nice sit down on the black furry cushion.

Chaos will reign soon enough :)

Ollivander84 · 27/02/2018 22:53

I've had a shower in peace and got dressed. Very strange Grin

cozietoesie · 28/02/2018 01:27

We've had bad spraying behaviour here. I cleaned it all up but things are still a bit tense.

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 28/02/2018 06:39

What caused it?.

cozietoesie · 28/02/2018 11:15

I have no idea, I've tried to link it to some common thing but no joy. As near as I can judge, he just lets all his negativity build up until once a months or so, it all spills out. So to speak.Sad

I resisted ringing until now. He's off the table (just) and still fast asleep under anaesthetic but all went well. I can ring later and check how many teeth were removed

Papergirl1968 · 28/02/2018 12:05

Glad to hear it.
I hope you’ve got a stack of his favourite food in.
When dcat was neutered, he polished off six meals within a few hours of returning home! Ollie might have a sore mouth though.

Ollivander84 · 28/02/2018 12:07

Er my zooplus order. And three others have arrived while I was out. So there will be a stack of boxes at home!!

LanaorAna2 · 28/02/2018 13:16

Yayay!! Well done O you must be so relieved.

The spraying isn't so good, but it's not 9 months yet with you. Also, I definitely think he is releasing tension so he can move on. He has been so happy lately, all snuggled up in his LWT2 so he can watch you, so trusting, and brave, but he is still really vulnerable.

I don't know much about Siamese but could he be spraying to lay claim to the house and you? To ward off other cats?

Does he sniff you at all? Mr C sometimes scent marks me when I go out in case I get snatched by a bigger, more macho tabby in Tesco.

cozietoesie · 28/02/2018 13:47

I don't know, Lana. He's back in LWT2 right now - moved in there about half way through the morning and reentered it shortly after lunch. That's good, I think. It's as if he's feeling lonely in CT rather than peaceable.

Ollivander84 · 28/02/2018 14:50

£190 Hmm
He had three teeth removed and he is already missing ten

LanaorAna2 · 28/02/2018 14:58

Oh God, but at least every penny is money well spent. It's a lot cheaper than Mr C's when he had 2 out if that helps. He will be fine with 3 fewer fangs.

C that is really good news. He is seeking you out. He wants to be with you. I know this is premature, but have you thought of where on the bed you wish to place LW3 and what form it will take. What about a heated mat sprinkled with a few dreamies every night at lights out till he gets the idea.

cozietoesie · 28/02/2018 16:03

He already knows, I fear. Grin One very very bright cat, (He knows the signals even better than I do.)

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 28/02/2018 16:15

Par for the course, Ollivander. (He'll be fine - in fact, he's better with them gone.)

I've sat in rush hour traffic to collect him as I couldn't wait Blush
