Cat loaf

LanaorAna2 · 12/02/2018 21:44

Olli says it would look even better with a slice of ham in it...

Ollivander84 · 12/02/2018 21:50

He woke me up by licking my face. No bloody ham Grin

cozietoesie · 12/02/2018 21:59

I certainly can. It's just pain relief at that stage, though.

LanaorAna2 · 12/02/2018 22:04

Well, it would be pain relief as well for Mr C, he's on the supplements already. I was hoping I might ask the vet for something that really worked for pain as well as all the other stuff.

LanaorAna2 · 12/02/2018 22:10

Mr C woke me up facebutting, most welcome, considering his alarm technique usually involves bloodletting.

It's claw-trimming time too. The vet won't do it. Got the clippers here,
ramping up the inner strength as we speak. Grin

LanaorAna2 · 13/02/2018 09:21

There's a 15-storey crane outside my window. Mr C has screamed at it.

4 claws down, 16 to go. Might get the crane operator in to help, he's not taking any prisoners. Might need the crane as well, my face is a bit shredded :)

YetAnotherSpartacus · 13/02/2018 13:48

Ollie is doing a Paddington Hard Stare.

LanaorAna ... are you still with us?

Ollivander84 · 13/02/2018 13:54

Fred is getting good at the "stroke me again human" face

Fred looks as if he's developing.........attitude. Grin

By the way. Have they been neutered yet? Wink

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 13/02/2018 14:09

Look at little Fred! How cute is he?! He knows your strokin' skillz are all that, O.

Spart thank you so much for checking I am alive, most appreciated and a touch more necessary than one would like, Mr C is blushing.

8 claws done. I have got to go to the chemist for my face (claw 9 stuck in it for some time) but, what with the DIY haircut and the wonky lip, I look like too much of a nutter to go out.

You can guarantee that if I just slip in, grab the antib cream and scuttle out, someone from my old school will hoot It's you!!! Followed by You Look Just The Same. Grin

Is everyone having pancakes?

Ollivander84 · 13/02/2018 14:32

cozie - yes! They were both done by the rescue before they came
Here is fat Ginge. I am sat outside the vets cleaning up as Ollie has protested at the carrier by throwing up all over me, himself, the carrier and the car Hmm

She's looking fair to being a .........fine figure of a girl! Grin

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 13/02/2018 14:37

She's ridiculous Grin I accidentally stroked her today so now she's horrified

cozietoesie · 13/02/2018 14:49

Achh. She's still around isn't she? Wink

TheLongRider · 13/02/2018 14:55

I saw something on the local cat adoption page about gingers that said that a ginger cat's mission in life is to grow upwards and outwards as much as possible!

Ollivander84 · 13/02/2018 14:57

New vet Blush Ollie had a loose tooth and he's just whipped it out

LanaorAna2 · 13/02/2018 15:17

She is utterly gorgeous - earth has no more fair to show than a fat kitten, as Shakespeare put it. Or would have done had he seen Ginge.

Oh poor O, good luck with the sick.

14 claws done. For a species that claims not to have opposable thumbs, Mr C is certainly making a good job of swivelling them away from the clippers.

LanaorAna2 · 13/02/2018 15:20

I really, really want Ginge. I could never cheat on Mr C, but she's a ladee & they might get on.

Ollivander84 · 13/02/2018 15:33

Ok so locum vet is slightly eccentric
Ollie is 3.6kg, the tooth has been whipped out after the vet grabbed his tool bag(!), he's had a steroid jab and suggested piriton between jabs at 3 tablets a day
He also congratulated me on having a special needs cat and not feeding "cereal shite"
Ollie is not impressed, threw up again and had to come home on a puppy pad

cozietoesie · 13/02/2018 15:36

If it came out that easily, it sounds as if it was 'ready'. He'll be more comfortable. Smile

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 13/02/2018 15:37

You really think so, Lana? Grin

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 13/02/2018 15:42

I bet the vet's joined the fan club. Olli will get over the outrage of the tool bag, he'll feel miles more perky now that loose tooth's gone.

How are you going to get 3 piritons down every day? Do they sell one big piriton pill? Lik-e-lix? Specially made pork scratching pill cases?

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/02/2018 15:49

Is "cereal shite" official rcvs terminology?.
