She came out of the carrier immediately, ate the entire lunch I'd put down, and then explored the 'safe room' thoroughly while I was still in there.

I went out of the room for a few minutes and left her to it. When I came back, she was waiting patiently by the door wanting to come out into the next room. So we did that, and she explored every nook and cranny.

What a lovely cat 😻

TheSecondOfHerName · 13/12/2017 19:15

Things she likes:
Being picked up and cuddled
Playing for at least half an hour, several times a day
Being wherever we are

Things she doesn't like:
Enclosed cat beds
Being restricted to only one or two rooms
Dreamies

Our little sweetheart now plays fetch like a dog - throw crinkly toy over the other side of the room and she brings it to you in her mouth. Repeat until one of us (usually the cat) gets bored and wanders off.
Anyone else's?

HildaZelda · 13/12/2017 22:19

Aw, she's absolutely beautiful OP. May you have many happy years together :)

She has the most gorgeous eyes. May you have many happy years as her slave.

shhhfastasleep · 14/12/2017 13:06

Just gorgeous!

TheSecondOfHerName · 14/12/2017 13:08

She has finally worn herself out and fallen asleep next to me on the sofa.

What a stunningly beautiful cat!

TheSecondOfHerName · 14/12/2017 20:20

She is intelligent, funny and communicative; as soon as she has done a poo, she comes to find me and tell me.

She is lovely :)

I have to say though, that looked like a struggle cuddle with your DH! I have those with mine!!

Enjoy your servitude with a beautiful little beast!

TheSecondOfHerName · 15/12/2017 12:17

First trip to local vet: she casually walked out of the carrier, jumped off the examining table, explored the entire consulting room then found a spot she liked on the vet's windowsill.

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 15/12/2017 13:32

Was she lulling the vet into a false sense of security?

TheSecondOfHerName · 15/12/2017 13:48

There was I, feeling smug that she had settled so quickly because we have such a welcoming, cat-friendly home.
😂

It turns out that she is just one of those cats who makes herself at home wherever she is.

Yeah if cats could sing they'd do that Paul Young song 'wherever I lay my hat, that's my home'.

And then there needs to be another song struggle cuddles, cat poo, dominance, too cute to take proper umbridge. Let's get Robbie Williams to sing it

cozietoesie · 15/12/2017 15:23

Lordy, she's pretty.

And so relaxed and confident........

TheLongRider · 15/12/2017 15:36

Enjoy the conversations with her. She seems like a real people seeking cat, I'd say she's constantly chatting to you.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 15/12/2017 16:44

She's a gorgeous girl. Glad she's settled well

TheSecondOfHerName · 15/12/2017 20:25

It's after 8pm, so it's clearly time to tear around from room to room randomly, chasing imaginary prey.

How does she have the energy? We've been playing with her on and off all day.

JingsMahBucket · 15/12/2017 22:19

She is so cute, OP. She's that great combination of fluffy and pretty. You're both so lucky!

TheSecondOfHerName · 16/12/2017 11:42

When you look like this, it's easy for the servants to forgive you for eating your breakfast far too quickly and then regurgitating it in three different locations in the house. 😂

Well M has certainly made herself at home...

Why do they usually upchuck in threes? (Because they generally do.)
