Mine are pleased that I'm home in time for the end of Pointless. Unfortunately they hate Pointless and would rather sit outside in the rain glowering in at me.

Have an interesting couple of house guests for the week. Cats are beyond fascinated.

Oh my word Wets! What are those things? They look both cute and scarily alien at the same time. I think I want some!

Alpacas, guessing from the size. If they were bigger they may be Llamas but they aren't anywhere near as common in the UK as their coats aren't very soft, and those look too small.

Oh wow, I bet their only leaving them for food & litter tray breaks.

I wonder what the alpacas make of the cats though?.

Haha yep couple of alpacas. The alpacas are entirely nonplussed with the cats. Cats just like to sit and stare at the weird things in the stables!

I've got an insane urge to pluck 2 long white hairs from her left paw . She's a little black cat.

She's elderly and doesn't have a little furry cat boyfriend (and she knows she's beautiful. She's a cat. Any cat boyfriend wouldn't care about them anyway).

I wouldn't actually attempt it as she'd lacerate me, and it's daft, but the urge is there!

Bulletfox I confess I do pluck the odd white hair from Basil . DW always tells me off for it.
Basil today has exhibited considerably less patience than his sister and was sitting on the kitchen table this morning.

My baby Dolly gave her first hiss today when she saw a gentle black and white face pearing through the cat flap . TCN it was daddy cat. Im feeding them abit closer to my door now. I dont know if that's for my benefit or theirs!

Ive cancelled the cattery over Xmas so they will be on their own for five nghts. Im not sure how i feel about it yet.

It's always hard leaving them but mine are always happier at home
