Realised I filled up the last thread with inanity!

Come one, come all, what's your cat up to today?

Mine are pleased that I'm home in time for the end of Pointless. Unfortunately they hate Pointless and would rather sit outside in the rain glowering in at me.

And I have NO idea why my photos are all posting sideways Hmm
Have posted on site stuff

BulletFox · 01/12/2017 04:31

I'm not sure, went down and fed her earlier. She's confused as we're moving soon and the poor little thing knows something is amiss (like missing furniture!).

I'll check on her now

BulletFox · 01/12/2017 18:15

Aww I was so proud of her today - we had to move and couldn't get her into the cat carrier, so eventually the mover said to take her on my lap and she was as good as gold!

No hissing, no miaowing, no trying to sabotage the driver

WetsTheVet · 01/12/2017 19:33

To get mine into their carriers I have to put the carrier on its end, then drop them in BlushBlush

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/12/2017 20:01

I've been scooping mine in with the door on his bottom. Yesterday he learnt that if you stand on your hind legs like a meerkat mommy can't get you in the carrier.

Wets Do you put cats straight into carriers after dentals or into a pen?.

Is the answer affected if said cat is 6.2kg of fearful Bengal?.

WetsTheVet · 01/12/2017 20:05

Fluffy they go back into a kennel in order to be supervised by the nurses as they come round. They are usually still pretty sleepy when it comes to going home time and we can get them back into a carrier without too much trouble... says the vet who leaves it to the poor scratched to pieces nurses to deal with all that tricky stuff Grin

PanannyPanoo · 01/12/2017 20:11

ah so many lovely Moggies. My cat will go in the Carrier no problem. Getting her out is much harder. She just makes herself enormous, solid and heavy so she cant fit through the hole. She has been helping wrap for the Xmas fayre today.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/12/2017 20:14

I would too Blush

I will ask my vet if he can come round in a crush cage....I'm thinking of buying my own crush cage.

Yes, I'm that owner.

I think my vets are prejudiced against the breed, our Persians would have your face off given chance & still people cooed over them 🙄

Allergictoironing · 02/12/2017 09:39

I with my cats would invite me to their parties, they must have had a real humdinger last night.

went be bed a little early with a half dose of Nytol (been a stressy week), and the usual routine of bedtime dreamies & mountaineering over the legs. Woke up about 4am for a pee and promptly trod on another hard toy mouse, followed by my track suit traousers that HAD been in the bottom of the wardrobe and were now beside my bed with vomit on them. Sighed, put them in the washing basket, went to the loo & got back into bed avoiding a second mouse.

Reached out for a drag on my e-cig to find it missing - looked all around the bedside table in case it had been knocked down but no sign, when back to sleep.

Come the morning I'm not assaulted by Boycat landing from a great height on his pointy little feet right on my legs demanding dreamies & a cuddle - getting suspicious by now. Find my face flannel half way up the hall, luckily no vomit. Drag myself downstairs to find everything thst was in a (neatish) pile in the living room has been scattered around the fllor with a couple of extra vomit patches for decoration. Eventually into the study to find the entire, which heavy, contend of the top shelf of a 6 foot bookcase had been unceremoniously dumped in the floor .

They are now curled up together sleeping like little angels, while I assess the mouse for more mayben!

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/12/2017 10:28

They must be exhausted after all that. I hope you've not got the vacuum out.

Allergictoironing · 02/12/2017 12:21

All laminate flooring downstairs luckily, Found another area of smeared something not sure if it's food or vomit, right where my feet go using the only seat on the sofa they allow me, and spread over the spare slippers I keep near there. Various items from the coffee table scattered about (air freshener, unopened bag of quavers etc.) on the floor.

Found the e-cig on the living room floor, surprisingly not covered by any noxious substances.

I swear I'be had full blown biker parties with dozens of guests that have left the place in a better start!

I'm having to clear bit by bit as I seem to have developed a virus & feel shite, especially when I bend down to try to clean STUFF off the floor Sad

Cats are still happily snoring away on my bed.

Papergirl1968 · 02/12/2017 12:48

Dcat spent the night firstly with dd2, then with me, then with dd1, and has now returned to dd2, who is still in bed recovering from knee surgery.
He likes to spread the lurve around. I just wish he didn’t feel the need to announce his arrival into my bed by sitting on my chest as I wake up feeling a crushing pain and think I’m having a heart attack.

TheLongRider · 02/12/2017 13:11

Ernie has been officially put on a diet after his kitty weightwatchers appointment .

He is starving and just so lifeless..actually it;s cold out and he doesn't want to go out much.

Hopefully now it's colder he wont be visiting the neighbours much

I got back from my dads funeral last night and I’d only left them for two days because I couldn’t face taking them all the way back to the cattery again. Helpful neighbour had overfilled both their bowls with dry food and must’ve left one in the bedroom as it was scattered all over the place. Dolly has demanded I put the electric blanket on and is in my bed.

I’m just debating whether to cancel the cattery for Xmas and risk booking a cat sitter again plus my neighbour. It’s so cold and I’ve booked them an outdoor pen. I just can’t decide I’ve had bad luck with sitters before.

WetsTheVet · 02/12/2017 21:19

Finally managed to get some photos of my kittens Neapolitan toe beans

It's Freya's birthday today and she is celebrating by trapping maisie in a cardboard box and then pouncing at her through the flaps
Poor maisie...

Duck is farting. It is not pleasant.

BulletFox · 03/12/2017 20:38

Oh god meaty little farts are unpleasant!!

Hope your other cat is licking Ducky clean.

TheCatOfAthenry · 03/12/2017 21:52

Yes, @BulletFox, the other two adore her! Cookie keeps her clean and Biscuit waves his tail around for her to chase. It's hilarious!

Papergirl1968 · 03/12/2017 23:12

Dcat has just come back after being out since 7pm. Wouldn’t be unusual in the summer but he has barely put his nose out for the last few weeks. I’ve been up and down like a yo-yo, to the front door, then the back, then front again. He has demolished his supper and is now washing himself with no care for his poor human having been frantic.

BulletFox · 04/12/2017 07:11

TheCatOfAterney I didn't realise you had 3. Lovely they look after each other!

Ok duck, biscuit and cookie.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 04/12/2017 08:16

I have to share this picture of Leroy. Please tell me he's normal.

(Yes tummy skooshes and kisses are permitted.)

But no I'm afraid he's not normal. Not normal in the slightest. He's a cat
