Executive decision by Mr C.

But the minute you contemplate giving a toy/bed away, it's suddenly their favourite thing Hmm
Ollie now adores his cat bed. Not on the floor of course but placed on a chaise where he can recline in comfort...

Lanaorana2 · 03/09/2017 21:16

Intelliheat was only a fiver - it was donated to the charity shop and even tho it was brand new from Amazon we couldn't sell it as had been opened. Trading Standards, innit. Men from the council do anonymous checks, believe it or not. I did the traditional donation into the tin and made off with it.

I am still on it. Mr C got on for a bit, purred, then jumped off screaming for food. He's annoying. The throw is lovely.

Every year I promise myself a heated throw. The cat has my other throw as his winter blanket.

Lanaorana2 · 03/09/2017 21:26

Had you mentioned this before I switched it on.... hey, when we get another one I will post it to you Fluffy.

How is darling little ASBO today?

He's running round the house outraged at other cats walking up the road.

Grin
cozietoesie · 03/09/2017 21:35

At least he's not outside and beating them up! Grin

Ollivander84 · 03/09/2017 21:36

I have a heated throw! Haven't actually tried it with Ollie as I'm concerned he might physically then refuse to move off me. Ever

cozietoesie · 03/09/2017 21:39

But......he can't actually refuse. You can just put him down, can't you?

Ollivander84 · 03/09/2017 21:50

Er Blush he cries at me and digs his claws into my top. I basically end up wearing him
It's like trying to put stable cat down Grin only with less blood

Ollivander84 · 03/09/2017 21:55

I should add the difference is you can eventually shift Ollie. If you put stable cat on the floor she just uses her claws to clamber back up you. Or smacks you for being a bad human. I just let her perch on my shoulder like a parrot ConfusedGrin

cozietoesie · 03/09/2017 23:12

That's safest. Stablecat is a force of nature.

(Although The Lodger would have her eating out of his hand in 20 minutes, I reckon. Wink)

Ollivander84 · 03/09/2017 23:29

Ollie mainly whinges about it. She goes "down? Down? How DARE YOU human?!"
< claws out to climb your leg >

Lanaorana2 · 04/09/2017 10:28

Had a love-in with Mr C last night, he likes sleeping next to my head now. Snoring. Very tired this am, me not him. How is Newboy?

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 04/09/2017 13:09

He's been playing with his feathered plaything. Not for long but Hey........Smile

He's ferociously well muscled and fast. I wouldn't like to be a small furry thing in this house!

Kibobear · 04/09/2017 13:53

I'm amazed at how fast Siamese are - so speedy and slinky!!
Our other two kitties are slow by comparison and I won't even go into the sloth like behaviour for 23.5 hours of day that we used to experience from our beloved Persians before them. (.5 of the day was slightly manic however - fluffy missilesGrin)

cozietoesie · 04/09/2017 14:00

Newboy is very very fast indeed. Seniorboy spent most of his later years snoozing - but then he was a very old cat. (Even he had some notches on his gun belt though - from earlier years in my Mum's cottage.)

cozietoesie · 04/09/2017 15:19

He's being incredibly nosey suddenly. If I catch his eye, he scarpers, but he seems to always be there or thereabouts while I'm doing chores. Smile

Lanaorana2 · 04/09/2017 16:23

He likes knowing where you are and keeping An Eye. Adorable. :)

cozietoesie · 04/09/2017 18:14

I'm hoping - and it may be a vain hope - that all this extra 'busyness' in the daytime will lead to a quieter night. I'm used to lying in bed with a small furry body stretched out next to me - not lying listening to 'Kerboom' and 'Thud' from downstairs. Grin

Ollivander84 · 04/09/2017 18:32

Best to keep an eye on the Creature Wink
Maybe this will extend to staring at the Creature when she sleeps soon Grin

Lanaorana2 · 04/09/2017 19:02

Oh C, one of these days you will get a decent kip. Maybe.

Ois dead right - the moment you finally pass out into an exhausted coma, sometime around 4am, you will wake to a gimlet eye giving you the enraged Feed-Me stare.

I haven't got dressed yet. Mr C is on me waiting impatiently for me to drop off again so he can thieve the last M&S miniature pork pie.

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 04/09/2017 19:23

He already appreciates that he has to be quiet in the mornings. I am NOT good first thing. Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/09/2017 19:33

I make the espresso for my lattes in bulk now, it shaves vital seconds off caffination time & means I only put the grinder on once a week now.

cozietoesie · 04/09/2017 19:36

ASBO not keen on the grinder? Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/09/2017 19:42

He's not allowed out until his food is done & the coffees in the microwave.
