Good news. London sky has returned to normal colour - a pleasing blue - and the ducks are back serenely gliding in the pond.

We've got neon green African parakeets, too. They escaped from a OAP's house in Richmond 30 years ago and live here. They scream, breed with enthusiasm, fly like the clappers and make the pigeons look very shabby. Mr C doesn't approve.

caoraich · 17/10/2017 10:20

Love the sound of your parakeets Lana!
I think our cats are too used to being Only Pets.
Today the stormy weather was my fault and they were obliged to wake me with a chorus of mewing

So beautiful! Superb tails too.

Kibobear · 17/10/2017 18:57

They are beautiful - I love the blame in their eyes.

Fluffycloudland77 · 17/10/2017 19:17

I love the accusing looks they're throwing you.

There's a BBC art documentary on iplayer & one of the interviewees has his black cat sat behind him clearly giving the crew the "why are you in my house" look. It's so intense.

They don't need to speak, you know exactly what their thinking.

‘I just cannot take anymore stress today!’

It’s clear who the leader is, caoraich. Grin

Want2beme · 17/10/2017 20:09

Dave what happened?! Have you been a neglectful slave today?

Fluffy do you remember what programme it was? I'd love to see that cat giving daggers.

DavetheCat2001 · 17/10/2017 20:27

Want I'm not entirely sure.

Perhaps the Dreamies were not as readily forthcoming as they could have been..or my bed wasn't quite to Lady Rosie's liking..hard to tell.

DavetheCat2001 · 17/10/2017 20:29

Btw..I'm new to this thread.. not sure of the catting protocol, but my puss is a rescue from the RSPCA called Rosie.

We have had her for just over 5 weeks now, and she is already running my house..even more than my bossy as you like 4 year old DD!

Allergictoironing · 17/10/2017 20:47

She's very pretty Dave. Can't see in that pic - does she have the clown markings on her other eye that's hidden by the paw as well as the one we can see?

Fluffycloudland77 · 17/10/2017 20:51

Google Brian eno cat or the British guide to showing off.

Lanaorana2 · 17/10/2017 20:59

Googled, giggled Grin

So relieved it's not just me. Like Brian Eno a lot now.

Ollivander84 · 17/10/2017 21:06

caoraich · 17/10/2017 21:34

cozie all I know is it's not me Grin

dave Rosie is lovely, and obviously already the boss - my granny would have described the look she's giving you as "black affronted". I'd describe it as "wtf!?"

(Ps as far as I know there's no protocol other than "what is your furry overlord up to", pics a bonus)

Want2beme · 17/10/2017 21:47

Yes, I see what you mean. We all know that look.

Cats still catting away part 5
cozietoesie · 17/10/2017 21:54

Lordy. That look! Grin

TheCatOfAthenry · 17/10/2017 21:57

Can't get a photo because they're running around, but Duck is making friends with Cookie and Biscuit!

Allergictoironing · 17/10/2017 21:57

Ooh perfectly symmetrical, absolutely gorgeous Smile

Lanaorana2 · 17/10/2017 22:06

Is funny how they make you feel inadequate as a person, even in a snap ripped off the interweb. Grin

Lanaorana2 · 17/10/2017 22:08

Dave she is lush. Utter fudgesome cuteness.

TheCatOfAthenry · 17/10/2017 22:50

Little Ducky cuddles!

TheCat, that's lovely. Are they settling down for the night now?
