She was never a friendly cat in the first place but now she's gone completely feral on us

They're 10 weeks now, they were abandoned by their feral mum so they were hand reared by the lovely lady we got them from. They are an absolute joy, settled in straight away and love to sit on us for cuddles and spend all day playfighting

A dogs a natural predator for a cat, it's like someone bringing a lion into the house, even if you're told it's tame you wouldn't risk hanging around to find out.

Oh dear . What are you going to do Soubriquet? If it's any help my girl cat got that when I brought Frankie the boy kitten home. It took her a while but she tolerates him now. She changed her mind when the weather got chilly.

Not much I can do apart from give her time

I'll make sure she's taken care of. She's fed, warm, and healthy. Apart from that it's down to her.

If she still refuses to come in come autumn time, I'll have to look at investing in a cat kennel type structure with some heat reflecting fleece to keep her warnx

Aye that is all you can do Soubriquet. Give her time, she'll come round. And the puppy will calm down too as it gets older and behave more acceptably.

His Highness has been let back outside today, so he's been reasserting his authority over the birds in the garden who had thought it was safe to hunt for worms on the lawn.

We have reached a compromise on the salt bathing of his tail (read: I've given up).

We shall need a new thread soon!

Gorgeous Faux Siberian there Weeds

BogCat - giving us all a fright by disappearing from house and garden at bedtime and not responding to the normal foolproof tactic of shaking a Dreamies packet and banging his bowl. Stupid cat had got himself locked in our understairs cupboard. It never seems to occur to him that meowing in such a situation would be really helpful!
