Snoozing in the sun with his scratching post...

Off to the vet again at half 2. I'll just pay my wages there shall I Ollie?!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/05/2017 12:36

What's he done now?

Ollivander84 · 02/05/2017 13:02

Vomited every day since they gave him the hormone injection Sad and twice today. But it's added up to 9 X episodes and they want him in

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/05/2017 13:10

Poor darling. I hope that he will be OK.

Ollivander84 · 02/05/2017 13:11

He's driving me insane at the minute. But I have spinal surgery in 9 days and I need o stop the vomiting before then as I won't be able to bend to clean up! It's always between sort of 2am - 11am. He's fine, eating and drinking and litter tray
Bizarre. I'm taking him to the vet that spotted his wandering tooth who knows him well

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/05/2017 14:36

Oh no! Poor you. I do hope you both get better soon!

prettybird · 02/05/2017 14:41

Hope the vet's visit sorts things. And that your spinal surgery goes ok. Smile

Ollivander84 · 02/05/2017 14:41

Thanks, they're taking bloods so I'm waiting for results now

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 02/05/2017 15:19

Bloods done. He's had a steroid jab. Bloods all ok so not a clue. I've been taught how to inject him at home Blush so I can do his steroids there rather than dragging him to the vets. Little nervous about that!!!

Kittens back outside - they actually found the cat flap on their own.

One of them has discovered trees - only he's not very good at getting out of them. Dh has taken some pictures of him backing his way back down a tree not very elegantly Wink

ElizaDontlittle · 02/05/2017 15:42

Oh my goodness at Albacat's Easter nest offering and Grin at this from YASpartacus!!

Today Maisie has got bright green sharpie all over her lovely white paw

Perhaps restrict her to crayons until she is a little older?

Alcohol hand gel does the job on humans. Sort of. I have No Idea about kittens - trim the fur if it fails?? Green is particularly a good contrast with ginger, excellent choice Maisie.

caoraich · 02/05/2017 16:26

spartacus 😂 at the crayons comment
Feel I should point out I'm not a careless sharpie leaver-abouter. She was overly interested in me addressing a plastic envelope!

It has already faded to blue, fingers crossed it goes soon

Oh ollivander fingers crossed for both you and kitty

silentpool · 02/05/2017 16:37

He is napping as usual. When his cat dinner alarm wakes him up soon, he will stalk over to me and start hinting heavily.

Drinking from the shower tray, because I have maliciously refilled his bowl with FRESH water.... it doesn't taste right.

Both of us woke up at 11 and missed the drop off at the cattery Blush

EachandEveryone · 03/05/2017 13:15

It's not going to be easy sending her off she's loving yet another box but I really need to get organised

What time are you aiming for now? Smile

Ollivander84 · 03/05/2017 13:30

Ollie has been sick again Sad despite the steroid jab yesterday. If he's sick again tomorrow he's going back in for X Ray and a scope

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 03/05/2017 13:49

Poor lad.

How is his pooing?

Ollivander84 · 03/05/2017 14:07

Absolutely fine. He vomits between 2am - 11am usually. Just once. No other symptoms, bloods normal, no temperature

OP posts:
EachandEveryone · 03/05/2017 14:32

Poor chap i wonder what it could be.

The next window at the cattery is 5-6pm so i have booked a cab. Anyone got any tips on getting them into their carrier?

RubbishMantra · 03/05/2017 14:32

Wishing you and Mad Eyed 'The Fang' Ollie a speedy recovery, Ollivander.

MCat mournfully howling into corners. I didn't actually know cats could howl before I adopted him. He and Ollie should form a Cat Choir! Or just howl at each other. Grin

Ollivander84 · 03/05/2017 14:45

Oh god can you imagine?! There was a cat next to me at the vets yesterday that was the spitting image of Ollie and it howled the whole time in the waiting room
Ollie just sat in his carrier silent with a face of ShockShockShockShockShock
He's skipping about perfectly happily but I could do without the random time specific vomiting every day

How long has it been going on for like this?
