Had the nastiest day ever. Since Xmas Mr C has smashed up the fridge, the telly, and the freeview recorder. And 2 pcs.

He jumps on them in the night and rips the wires out from the back with his teeth. Don't ask.

Today, when I have just painfully paid for the new telly, I found he had torn the wires away from the NEW freeview recorder and the aerial. Had to replace aerial as a third freeview recorder is out of question, cried in Argos. Got home to find he had attacked the final, ancient pc, tho it still works a bit.

Have stomach upset from hell (am waiting op) and had to do a house clearance singlehandledly for charity. Chemist - who has my pain power pills - had scarpered for Easter by the time I staggered up road. Overcharged buying his Felix Sensations.

What can I do? I'm going to have to shut him up at night, aren't I.

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/04/2017 19:59

I would yes, have you tried zylkene on him?. It's expensive and dangerous.

You poor girl Sad

Why is he doing this I wonder?.

LanaorAna1 · 15/04/2017 21:15

I don't know Fluffy. Only a dumb animal. Me not him.

Toxic house clearance people came back as well today - 3 sacks' worth. I am on antibiotics - doxycycline - the 4th lot they've tried to ease my cough. I could have shot the fuckers.

Actually the charity have overdone it, I'm getting too frail to do these huge physical heavy cleaning and lifting jobs. 45 meds and counting today, not inc the missing pain pills.

or the wine.

LanaorAna1 · 15/04/2017 21:18

On the upside Felix sensations are going down well. |how is ASBO

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/04/2017 21:33

Still a Bengal, accident of birth isn't it?.

I wouldn't like to do a house clearance. Other people's dirt gives me heebie jeebies.

I'd be packing stuff up and judging their cleaning. A relative who died had his house cleared by family. Grim. Very grim.

EachandEveryone · 15/04/2017 21:48

Just got in from work trying to catch up on abit of telly....

I am tough as old boots when it comes to filth but I agree with you, I'm getting slightly sick of having to hurl everything I'm wearing inc pants into a boilwash and jumping in after it after days like today. No wonder the owner died, is all.

I noted there was no comment on Bengals in the cat behaviour table by Temple Grandin. :)

A portrait of unrepentance.

Ollie looks just like Six Dinner Sid - his eyes as well as his colouring..!

RubbishMantra · 15/04/2017 22:49

Mr. C. may well be acting the wanker because he's picked up on you being unwell, L. They do that. Sort of like poking someone in a well meant and "helpful" way...

My 2 have got proddy since I've been a bit poorly. Obviously cos they rely on me for food. Told them it's fine to eat me if needs must though.

Anyway, for for you and Mr.C, L Smile

That actually looks more like a portrait of smug. Grin

C and M and F thank you all for cheering me up so much.

Last night's damage: one cigarette, shredded. At least not smoked while cackling.

I might have his thyroid tested just in case the naughtiness is chemical - I can feel it doing ears 'n' chinrub. He's on me now, having a nice purr.

Jumping in and out the window. And telling me loudly how disgusted he is that it's raining

Weedsnseeds1 · 16/04/2017 16:00

On his Easter holidays. Went for a 2 mile walk yesterday morning and I'm now wondering how far his range is when he's out and about at home!

Sev has just experienced his first (small) hailstrom.
He didn't approve.

EachandEveryone · 16/04/2017 21:34

In from work about to start a marathon play session she won't even let me put my pj.s on first. After tomorrow I'll have four days off just me and her. I love those days.

No idea hat Archie has been up to today but just noticed the colour of his paws as he hung off my kitchen cupboard demanding his sliced chicken. I have a horrible feeling it may have involved a bonfire though!

icequeen possibly cold ash, but doesn't look as if he has been singed. He isn't limping?

Icequeen01 · 16/04/2017 22:28

No he's absolutely fine Weeds, just really black paws 😀 Had to give his paws a quick wash as didn't want him licking it off or it going on my cream carpet! We live near a footpath which runs alongside open fields. There is an old slightly eccentric old man who for some reason often has a bonfire and then puts the ash along the sides of the footpath - no idea why. I have a feeling Archie has been scratching around in that.
