You can get.....MULTI RIBBON end bits. He'd probably die of pleasure though.

Ollivander84 · 14/04/2017 18:11

Oh. My. Grin

ElizaDontlittle · 14/04/2017 18:51

She brought in a live adult blackbird!!! She's not even been going out for a week and it was middle of the afternoon and raining (people said keep her in at dusk and dawn etc) - I have separated cat and bird and released the bird tho I think she had a damaged wing. She has only 2 teeth and is quite a small cat - the bird in her mouth was bigger than her whole head!!
Crazycat is sulking. Still.

LanaorAna1 · 14/04/2017 18:59

Those laser things go down well too.

Cozie I would gladly defend you but thing is, and this isn't an admission made with pride, I was really worried about Mr C. His behaviour changed a lot, he lost 4lbs in weight, and what with the FIV, etc., you can imagine. Three times I vetted him - I finally stopped when my report of him 'becoming emaciated' came back as 'tested - Category Overweight'.

He's on me now, purring, flicky tail when I speak words of love to him. Grin

Vinocat has just puked spectacularly (no photos obvs), has had a huge drink and is now sitting on me purring.
Am hoping it's not the start of a dodgy belly flare up as our usual vet (who knows her case inside out) isn't working tomorrow. Paws crossed all is ok in the morning.

Today Freya and the Ginger Kitten have been bonding. Unfortunately this involves perving on me while I try to have a wee....

Ginger Kitten is just stunning. Is Freya being maternal-ish? Smile

Destinysdaughter · 14/04/2017 23:49

This thread is like kittie porn! GrinBear

Trustyourself2 · 15/04/2017 00:02

Ollivander84, which one did you buy? They sound great.

caoraich · 15/04/2017 00:19

cozie she's a little better, keeps trying to lick Maisie who just wants to run and run! There has been some not very agressive wrestling but only problem is Freya's (sadly now deceased) sister was bigger so she can be a bit OTT with the wee one. Maisie is so lovely but making me miss when Freya and her sister Juno were kittens together 😢

cozietoesie · 15/04/2017 00:25

That sounds......not too bad really. Smile Mother cats can seem quite forceful with kittens at times. No blood has been drawn?

EachandEveryone · 15/04/2017 07:35

Freya is the double of mine and I haven't broken it to her that she's getting w friend in Afew weeks. Next door have decided that it's perfectly ok to put a manly arm chair in the hallway until Tuesday so their two where snuggled in it this morning my poor girl got chased away.

Trustyourself2 · 15/04/2017 07:36

Saturday morning ablutions. She can't reach her nether regions, fat tummy & all that, so I have to assist with that - such fun!

Trust - the original da bird toy :)

EachandEveryone · 15/04/2017 08:03

It's expensive isn't it? It's the best one by far. Also the same brand do one with sparkly ribbons she had a good jump on the bed with that this morning. I'm at work now so hoping she sleeps all day. Does anyone leave the telly on for theirs? I think 12 hours is pushing it to be left on?

Ollivander84 · 15/04/2017 08:14

He seems happy with it! Paid £8 at pets at home

Oh I haven't seen a blue one!

Trustyourself2 · 15/04/2017 08:24

Thanks Ollivander84

LanaorAna1 · 15/04/2017 11:53

Olli and other ladies of black cat love - I've just been reading that Temple Grandin book about how to understand animals - turns out Black cats are more friendly and sociable than other cats. Science, innit.

Ginger cats are grumpier! Norty torties are, you guessed.

C the friendliest of all, and the best at reading humans, are Siamese.

M Our particular preferences in the pet mood/coat colour stakes are not mentioned. Although we secretly know ours are the best (too).

LanaorAna1 · 15/04/2017 11:57

Each telly a fine idea, cats like the footy - failing that, anything with a ball. Mr C mad for snooker championships, I tape them for him.

qazxc · 15/04/2017 12:01

Getting hugs from dd. Not quite sure she's really enjoying them but she isn't about to relinquish her spot on the couch.

Our previous cat liked watching horse racing. I'm anti the whole industry so was somewhat disappointed by him.
