MKitten always follows me into the bathroom, then does this upright, demented digging thing on the side of the bath. In a dog like fashion. Then puts his paws on the loo seat in order to inspect what's going to be flushed away Confused

Might be a breed thing, because I've seen a lot of youtube clips of other Devons doing the same thing on vertical surfaces.

Haha special cuddles with the shag bag Grin

RubbishMantra · 11/03/2015 14:18

The sort of special cuddles a mum should never see. Confused

This morning, DH was in bed, stretching, MKitten darted over and started washing his armpits. Not the first time he's done it either. Helping out with hubby's hygiene.

I've just realised, I'm still referring to him as MKitten, but his 1st birthday's in a few days. Teenage Dickhead now.

Are you having a party for his 1st birthday?

The old girl was a licker. She would give DH's head a preen.

Jack is more of a leap into your face and knead on chest type.

RubbishMantra · 11/03/2015 16:08

Well, I did mean to order him a beautiful chicken hat for his birfday.. Then both MCats could have had a sort of Easter Parade. (MCat senior already has a beautiful hat.)

But there shall be prawns, chicken breast and tuna!

Love all these. cory fecking hilarious about your arse getting bitten!

suscat is a bit weird sometimes and really not elegant. She often falls off things. Our beautiful leather sofas have claw marks where she has fallen and tried to save herself. She also once ran into the fence instead of jumping up it. I mean literally, took a fast run up and everything and then BAM... face first into the fence. She also once chased a fly along the landing, jumped and sailed straight over the banister and hit the floor twelve steps below.

She has also developed a habit of coming to see if i'm awake or not. If i lie very still and keep my eyes closed she assumes I am asleep and goes away again. Although she has occasionally been known to put her face as close to mine as she can and miaow till I wake up. I nearly fell out of bed backwards in shock the first time she did it.

susurration · 11/03/2015 21:16

Oh and she likes to accompany me to the loo. No one else, only me. If I close the door she will claw till I let her in. If I leave it slightly ajar she'll just barge in. So rude!

Methe · 11/03/2015 21:17

My cat has an used earplug fetish. I have to shut her out of our room or she will sled hours trying to get in to the bedside table so she can steal my earplugs and rub her face on them!

Apparently earwax smells alluring to cats.

Iwasbornin1993 · 11/03/2015 21:38

I've got another one here who is obsessed with my nail file! Wonder what it is about them?

Our other one takes great pleasure in going around the house knocking anything that isn't fixed down off its surface!

chockbic · 12/03/2015 16:59

lol at that chicken hat. Someone went to the trouble of knitting it too.

Mkitten is more of sheepy though? A sheep hat would suit him. Verily.

RubbishMantra · 12/03/2015 17:22

Here's MCat wearing his own beautiful hat.

I've posted it before, but can't resist.

When I pick it up, he miaows and runs towards me, because he knows he gets Dreamies if he'll wear it for me.

MK would have to have a custom made one, because he has a tiny peanut head.

How long 'til it's taken off Grin

Peanut head, chicken neck Sad

RubbishMantra · 13/03/2015 11:15

When the hat arrived, he didn't want to wear it. I sat him down and pleaded with him. He agreed. Then I laughed until I felt sick. He looked a bit sad and defiled. He got lots of Dreamies to make up for it.

The first thing one of my friends said when they met MKitten, "He's got a really tiny head!" Oh, and we forgot about the Einstein/Don King hair. And the bald tummy. He's got a beautifully long and bushy tail though. Like he was given one several sizes too big.

OP posts:
chockbic · 14/03/2015 14:05

Ah bless. Giveth and taketh away. A bushy tail to make up for it.

Jack has a pretty face and nice stripes. To make up for being a psycho.

goodasitgets · 14/03/2015 14:12

This noise Confused
You need volume

RubbishMantra · 14/03/2015 17:24

Hmm. Psychos are usually pretty and charming. Otherwise they wouldn't lure any victims.

I do love that shouty and demanding cat in the video clip.

Boy kitten shakes his head from side to side just before he goes to sleep. DH wakes him on purpose, just do he can watch him do it again.Grin

goodasitgets · 14/03/2015 17:36

Rubbish - I can post him? Doesn't come with mute button Confused

redrubyindigo · 14/03/2015 17:53

Too many stories fro my cats.

The time he came in through the catflap backwards with a slice of hot buttered toast between his jaws.

Walking back to my house to see my cat meowing at me from a neighbours bedroom window. The neighbour tried to keep him.

The time we had to rescue him whilst swinging from one paw from the top branch of an apple tree. He hated that bastard squirrel.

One of my cats used to eat cat food from the tin with a paw. Scooped out delicately and licked off.

Iwouldratherbemuckingout · 14/03/2015 22:44

My maine coon x has a wardrobe fetish.

Its got sliding doors - if they're shut I will be woken up at god knows what time at the sound of determind claws sliding the doors open - once open he likes to hang from my clothes.

Sigh.

TrulyTurtles · 14/03/2015 22:49

I was going to say no, then I looked at smackhead cat licking the leather sofa. Idiot.

Notrevealingmyidentity · 14/03/2015 22:51

I get smacked in the face if I don't pet her when she sits next to me.

RubbishMantra · 14/03/2015 22:58

MKitten sneaks into the wardrobe every time it's opened. Then we get all frantic that we can't find him. Perhaps they're searching for Narnia?

Better to lick the sofa than your back. It's like being rubbed with wet sandpaper. Sad

Grin We are looking after a friend's cat for the weekend. It's crazy. It ran off and hid at first, of course. We couldn't find it for ages and then DH lifted up our mattress and found it spread eagled under the bed like a giant spider. Then it spent the entire first night appalling DH by shagging a blanket while making odd noises. Has proceeded to ignore any attempts at playing with it, until you make any kind of cardboard box appear, at which point it goes mad and starts jumping on/in/under it.

Sometimes if you drag something long very slowly past it it will bite it. But only for a second and then it gives up.

It also keeps staring suspiciously at nothing. Confused
