Could someone please explain who this dog is in my house and what they've done with Pod? Because he's been absolutely angelic today. Truly a wonderful, wonderful dog and even coped with my DF and DPs pal coming over for Sunday dinner and sitting up getting merry on red wine.

Or perhaps the collective will on MN have given me a SERIOUSLY needed good day. What a star. 🥹

Red letter day alert!

Today Pod ran round the paddock 400 times then went for a one on one walkie with his trainer (who he predictably completely angelic for). Then I staggered out to take him for another shorter pootle around this afternoon.

Anyway he's so knackered he snuggled up on his bed by the radiator and slept and he let me go upstairs for a lie down! I only left it 30 mins as I didn't want to stress his but what a feckin result! Calm snoozy Pod all on his tod in the kitchen; amazing!

He's doing so well, he will be a superstar when he has learned to be a best boy.

Wooooo red letter day indeed, good work by all :D Reward self with a nice cup of tea and a sit down (I'll even permit a biscuit if theres one you can taste, fancy!)...

That’s so good… and now Pod has coped with being left alone downstairs once he will be more confident about doing it again 😀

Sadly not. I'm only on day three do I figure I've got a bit more to go yet. My sense of taste has almost totally gone 😢 I made delicious tofu fried rice with loads of chili, garlic and ginger and couldn't bleddy taste it!

Pod has a lot of feelings this evening.

He’s just helping make the cardboard smaller so it fits in the recycling bin. Good Pod.

To be fair, apart from one rogue cushion, it looks like he’s only expressed his feelings on his toys or some cardboard, so that’s good. Better than eating the soft furnishings or soft clothes. Oodies are so soft. I’d probably bite one if I was a dog. It must have been like a chocolate mud cake would be for humans. Delicious.

Pod has gone from being scared of the car to being raring to go (as long as his head is out the window)

He really is one handsome hound.

I feel the need to add that Pod has spent the last thirty mins strutting importantly round the garden, burying and re-burying his rejected piggies ear. I have noticed that when he's finished burying it by pushing the earth back over it using his face, he then PATS IT DOWN WITH HIS FRONT PAWS. I will obviously video this obscenely cute behaviour next time. House is now covered in mud and I'm not even mad.

Im in trouble as my dog killed her toy DS bought so I messaged to tell him. Unfortunately I started it with I'm sorry to have to tell you <dog's name> and he thought it was proper bad news 😥. instead he's told her new no toy this year.

Oh I need to see the burying of the piggy lug.

I was reminded how cute the Stick Dog can be today when she snagged some bubble wrap from my partner as he unwrapped something, and began to delicately pop the bubbles with her front teefies.

She is a delightful weirdo.

Naughty Pod got his long snoot up on the counter while I was cooking this evening and grabbed a chunk of what was waiting to be cooked. Joke's on him as it was raw tofu. He was simultaneously disgusted and determined to eat it so his sat on his sofa chewing ostentatiously and doing Tragic Ears.

Hahhhhhhaahaha, nothing is quite so tragic as a pointy dog who has done a crime and HAS to eat the stolen goodie even though it turns out NOT A FOOD, pmsl.

I have a sad Low Wheelbase Hound who had no breakfast, an early morning with no lie in, and woke up at the vets very sore with several teeth missing... woe is him. Didn't even want a bit of burger (ate a bit to show willing but clearly teefs hurt/sore throat).

Oh dear, poor Pod and poor LWH

Oh Tragic Ears are absolutely the doggy DGoD... if things are reallllllly bad, the ears can actually melt right off a dog!
