Is my dog…..

please can I see some other best dogs in the world? These are horrible times and dogs are better than most humans and they cheer me up.

about my dog:

favourite food: steak
favourite activity: chasing the ball or frisbee into a loch/ the sea / a puddle
favourite human : me (he’s my shadow)

I trained my dog to leave dogs on leads alone. She knew what leave meant and what a lead was so I put it together. Only time she ignores me is when she knows the dog and I've forgotten we've met 😁.

Favourite food - trying to teach him recall as he came to us with absolutely none so just discovered his Kryptonite is hotdog - the cheapest and stinkiest available
Favourite activity - carrying a toy or even better two toys, being brushed, being cuddled, having his ears cleaned, anything basically, everything is exciting apparently
Favourite human - me obviously (ok DD2 really)

My sweetest girl:
been with me 10 months now (rescue) and has made massive progress, from being scared of absolutely everything to letting unknown kids stroke her.
Favourite food: used to be cat shit, but is now fortunately anything I give her.
Favourite activity: splashing and sitting in water.
Favourite person: me (it’s mutual ❤️❤️).

My doggy is the best one ever. He went to sleep just over 3yrs ago and I still miss him ever day. He won't be replaced.

I used to have a drawer full of identical black gloves as he loved to carry one on our walks. He lost an awful lot though 😆

Hugs to those who have lost their dogs. I can’t bear the thought and know from experience how awful, inconsolably awful, that experience is.

@CollieDug thank you. He’s landed on his paws, as have we. He’s a little angel. He’s had lots if firsts as a rescue and he’s taken to them like a duck to water. Speaking of which, he went to the seaside for the first time and he loved it. Loved the sand and freedom.

Here is a double champion ..... Both the best dog in the world AND the most expensive mongrel in the world.

He's supposed to be a Beddlington Terrier 🤣🤣🤣🤣. The vet recently looked in his ears and announced, to the dog, not me, "I think your father must have been some kind of spaniel".

This is Hamish, aged 3 and a bit. But he's a spaniel so he's basically stuck in puppyhood til he's an old man.

Favourite food: cheese, sausages, anything the hoomans are eating.
Favourite place: Mums lap.
Favourite things: his smelly old toy from when he was a puppy, his ball and any body of water he can get into.

Actually the sweetest, loveliest boy. Never met a dog who he didn't like and vice versa, never guarded a thing in his life and just a cuddle monster who loves life. Best mate to the family and always up for an adventure.

Collies are indeed the best. I've chosen a fairly normal picture which was quite hard as the 5,874 pictures of him my phone is of him being a typical collie weirdo 🤓

This is Ziggy who is quite an elderly gentleman now at 13 but still very much loves water and balls games. His last 11 years have been way happier than his first two seem to have been before he found us at the rescue place.
