My lovely older cat was sitting in the front garden in the sun. Dog comes charging around the corner, was on her instantly and had her pinned down. Apparently they have workmen in and they left the gate open. She is at the vet, her back legs are not working properly and I am waiting to hear the outcome. I shouted, hit it with the lead, kicked it and my neighbour hit it with a broom. Eventually I had to grab the collar and drag it off, knowing it might bite me. All the people who think they are lovely dogs can fuck right off.

This popped up today - if any one is interested - kitty still has a limp, seems like it will never go, and does not put any weight on her leg when she is running. But seems quite happy and is back to her normal self. Which does not include tearing other animals apart @arialllla - she has never caught anything in her life but is very fond of catching leaves. No doubt you will have a snotty comment about that too - seriously, why would anyone post like you did on a thread about a pet being injured?

As for dog wardens - no one was very interested. But the neighbours all know and look out for the dog now..

I am pleased and relieved that kitty survived and is still alive.
you must have been so worried for her outcome.
