Name for a golden retriever puppy

Ok this is my second dog thread in one day but I’m excited.

Having trouble agreeing on a name for a golden retriever girl puppy. Not keen on the most popular names like Molly, Daisy, Nala, Bessie etc, they’re nice but a bit blah. But equally don’t need anything too “you-neeque”.

Our list at the moment, with suggestions from the whole family, is:

Ripley
Jura
Juno
Margot
Crumble
Dolly
Madame Kazam
Toastie
Minnie
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Winnie
Sookie
Roastie
Debbie Harry

Any thoughts on faves from this list or other suggestions??

Little bit rude to only post one pic of the puppy if you want help naming her - I feel we need at least 3/4, along with a full description of her delightful little puppy smell and antics.

You're right, all of those makes a a bit meh compared to Debbie Harry! You must use that one!

Minority of two. I’m not a fan of this current fashion for giving dogs 60s/70s names like Colin or Tracey.

Lots of great suggestions here thank you! Also loving those who are enabling me in my desire to call her Debbie Harry but I am facing strong resistance from my daughter on that one.

Currently on a Scottish theme of name suggestions, it being a Scottish breed and we have strong ties to Scotland. I especially like Neep, Tattie and Selkie :)

The list just keeps growing, I have no self control lol

I’d have said Crumble, but if you’re wanting a Scottish theme , what about Bridie ?

@Floralnomad Do you know what, I'm not aware of the hall of fame thing, but I read an interview she did back in 2003 or something the other day and thought the same thing - I was hoping it was a one off. So sad when people you love are dicks.
