I think we're getting a puppy this weekend...

Going to meet him on Sunday. He's a 5 month old Cavalier King Charles spaniel called Harry. The breeder had planned to keep him for shows/breeding, but he doesn't quite might the standard (too big, apparently), so she's looking for a family home for him.

He looks absolutely adorable and I'm so excited. I won't lie, it's an added bonus that the breeder has done a lot of the hard work in getting him housetrained, etc, though I'm expecting to have to do a bit of work on this with a change of home.

Just hope he and the breeder like us as much as I'm sure we'll like him! 🥰🐶😍

Omg, Harry is just the goodest boy! Slept all night in his crate, not a sound out of him till we got up, then straight out to the garden for a wee and a poo!

I have a huge chunk of a Cavvie and he is my entire world. Congratulations on your new position as full time servant to Harry. He is pawesome.

I have a tri-colour KCS who is bigger than normal. He's got really long legs. Only just started with heart issues at 8

Harry looks like a lovely boy so well done...and well done dealing with some of the posts on here.
I've had 2 cavaliers and both lived till 11 and 12, until then they were fit, healthy, happy dogs. Heart issues near the end but well managed and no suffering. Any dog of mine with health issues I was only too happy to pay whatever was needed.

So DH has only just met Harry (he had to go and see his mum this weekend as she's quite unwell) and it was love at first sight. They're snuggled on the sofa together and he's planning their first pub trip. 😆

Love the cat btw! Very cute. The cat 'will' rule the roost, but that's ok. It works like that in our house. He keeps the two dogs in check🤣🤣

This is the cat, his name is Casper. He's not happy about the canine interloper, but he's not scared of him. Tbf Harry has given him no reason to be.
