Dog DNA - any guesses?

Yay the first kit has arrived. I’m predicting beagle, Italian greyhound and definitely some kind of terrier mix.

Hard to go by behavioural traits as it’s only week 3 and she was quite traumatised (dumped after having puppies, always lived outside before rehomed to me) but judging by appearances what do you think?

Oh and she has rear dew claws so that should definitely narrow it down!

Where did she come from? That might give us some clues!

Ears definitely look beagle-y! And the rough coat is terrier ish. I know a border terrier x beagle with a similar shape and coat but his colouring is totally different.

Oooo! She’s lovely. The way she stands reminds me of my Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Same gait.

Jack Russel or definitely some kind of terrier.
Poss v diluted spaniel ears

She’s from a tiny patch of concrete outside in Romania which she shared with multiple dogs (some of which killed some of the others) but she’s adapting beautifully to Suffolk life (except our mud 😂)

Beagle x retriever?

I’ll cream my underwear if there’s spaniel in there (very spanielly household).

She’s about 9kg so could be a very distant retriever relative ?

Aw, I have a spanish rescue dog in Suffolk , and he also has gigantic ears, but his stick up. He loves mud though!

Dogs from Romania always look so pretty.

I almost took on another Suffolk spaniel but although not optimal, life and death in the shelters here is incomparable to the type volume and sheer scale of suffering in parts of mainland Europe 😡

I think there’s collie or retriever in there plus a terrier of some sort

Awwww thanks everyone who says she’s beautiful, I’m absolutely besotted. She’s very very very small, about working cocker height but much finer bones.

Here with a (I think??) wheaten terrier for size - the first person she’s played with here.

I've got a Rommie rescue, mine looks like a poodle cross.
I think they have completely different breeds out there so the DNA tests aren't any good as they use mostly US data? (Well they will tell you something - it's whether you believe them!)
You might be better off researching Romanian dog breeds, then trying to work it out yourself?)

I agree with the staffie legs and in the broad forehead.
