Do you let your dogs on the sofa?

I used to but I'm getting fed up of hoovering off the hair everyday.

When we got our new sofa, the idiot dog was rolling all over it before it’d all been brought in...

Yes, we have whippets - they lie on the sofa and we cover them with blankets for maximum cosiness.

Not upstairs, that's the cats domain..we intended no to sofa but failed miserably on that front. The first dog we have had that has been allowed.

Dogs on sofa. In my bed my car anywhere I go. Hoover 3 times a day. But wouldn't have it any other way. Adore them. 🐶🐶

Skinny lurcher here as well - of course, too boney for anything else, they need the padding. She can stretch to take up most of a 4 seater so we just ordered another sofa... just for her!

Mine are both allowed on the sofa. But it definitely depends on you.

Dogs in the kitchen only. Never on sofas.

How bloody miserable

Lots of pictures out there of the Queen with a dog beside her on a sofa.

Mine has her own armchair but she loves to switch to the sofa too - we have throws .

Our dog, about 3 minutes after we brought her home. She also has cushions on the floor which she uses, but only if they're closer to where the people are.

My whippets favourite place is on our sofa rolled up in a blanket, she will occasionally stick a leg out if she gets too warm.
She also loves our bed. Especially if the electric blanket is on.
Life is too short to get het up about where the dog sleeps imo

My Hellpup reclining, and another of her looking regal, and DD’s Dog burrito. Both of them take the opportunity to get as comfy as possible whenever they can- after all, it is their house too.

She’s allowed on sofas in living rooms only - but only where the blankets are.

She’s not allowed anywhere where there are carpets as she still wees & poos on them (rehomed dog).

So it’s easier to have these rules in place. Dcs Moan at me but they aren’t the ones cleaning up the mess. But she’s so adorable & the best thing we ever did.
