You wouldn’t want anyone of your acquaintance ever knowing and you’d find really funny if you heard anyone calling their dog? I’ll go first, my dog gets called the following totally appalling nicknames, by me!

I'm equally guilty of this and my kids cringe when I call my dog Rog rog with variations (roggles, baby roggy)

And the list goes on. Who thought you could have so many nicknames for the name bolt? Lol

I call my dog Kitten 🙄 I forget how odd it is sometime do it in front of other people much to their confusion... “Does she think that’s a cat?”

Loving reading these! I just call mine doggy or doggo. Occasionally doggywoggywoggy but not often. I’ll have to think some more up!

When he first came home (he's an rescue spaniel) we had to crate him when they were home alone as he was a chewer. She (also a rescue) had already learned to open the crate if she was in it but she would also open the door for him to come out, wreak havoc, then she would shepherd him back into the crate and sit there like butter wouldn't melt (we caught her in the act on a camera). She earned herself the name Shitbag for stealing my son's wallet then passing it to him to chew! She most definitely is a naughty, funny, highly intelligent collie and he, bless him, is slightly dim and easily led but absolutely loveable.

:-) they sound quite a partnership!

I call my rescue 'street dog' all the time

Or devil dog. Or sausage. Depending on how horrific his behaviour has been that day..
