Bitey Bella will be 9 next weekend although you wouldn't think so as she's as bouncy and enthusiastic as a puppy.

BiteyShark · 06/12/2018 18:54

Awww Bella is clearly a young 9 flesh Grin

distant our family dogs would never leave any food and were good at snatching stuff when you weren't looking. It's a bit annoying because BiteyDog is so blasé with his food that he leaves large bits of biscuits everywhere and I have to hoover them up. I mean that's what you have a dog for isn't it to hoover the crumbs up off the floor Confused

BiteyShark · 08/12/2018 14:53

I went shopping today leaving DH in sole charge of BiteyDog which is such a rarity.

Apparently he barked at every noise and was particularly demanding and restless. When I got back I got the biggest greeting from BiteyDog and DH saying I think he wouldn't settle because I was out.

It's nice to know I am missed Grin

BiteyShark · 09/12/2018 07:20

BiteyDogs broken nail is almost down to the non broken bit so the grinding has been working even though he absolutely hates it and we have this standoff every night where I get the grinder out and he hides his paws under his body Hmm.

Squirrel26 · 09/12/2018 08:18

Aww, BiteyDog obviously likes to know you’re safely where he can see you!

We’ve got a nail grinder. SquirrelDog is so keen to get it into his mouth to investigate it, I can’t get it near his bloody nails. Hmm

BiteyShark · 09/12/2018 13:01

Squirrel I have to wait until BiteyDog is so tired he can't be arsed to fight with me. Last night I tried too early and he got up and I couldn't get anywhere near his nails but later on managed a bit when he was sleepy. He tends to do air snaps at the grinder if he is awake or just refuses to come near me Grin

steppemum · 10/12/2018 10:45

What alovely morning.
I was ill all last week, so dh had all the walks, and got rained on pretty much everyday. I'm back to cheif dog walker as of today and I get a glorious sunny day! Grin

steppedog has excelled himself. Saturday night he had a whole large panetone, still in box, and a whole large packet of Aldi speculoos biscuits. His is fairly slim nirmally, and he has had a massive pot belly since. No idea how he got them down, as they were quite well tucked away, and he can't normally reach there, but ds may have moved them late saturday night to access the bisuit tin.

We came home last night to masses of spicy smelling diarrhea all over the kitchen.
Loads of large poohs this morning and he still looks too fat.

Good grief, you would think he would learn.

Squirrel26 · 10/12/2018 11:48

I was cross this morning because SquirrelDog had lightly chewed on a £5 bar of hand made soap that was supposed to be a Christmas present. But I think I’ve forgiven him after hearing what Steppedog’s been up to... Shock

BiteyShark · 10/12/2018 12:43

Oh no steppe sounds like there might be more to come [boak]

thegirlsallgrowedupnow · 10/12/2018 14:04

Perhaps Sqirreldog could loan Steppedog the soap to make his poop smell prettier😁

steppemum · 10/12/2018 14:25

I normally keep the Christmas present under our bed. I started stashing them a coupel of weeks ago, and then suddenly realised - we know have a dog.....
(actually he was here last year, so maybe he was just not very naughty as he hadn't settled in yet)

had to clear out the bottom of my wardrobe to satsh them in. Just hope he doesn't learn how to open doors any time soon.....

I think I need to work out how much chocolate would be poisonous to a dog of his size, just in case I need that information in an emergency....

steppemum · 10/12/2018 14:43

I can actually spell in real life.

His poo sis genuinely smell spicy. The cookies he ate are cinnamon and nutmeg, and that is what the kitchen smelt of!
Not sure why they upset him, when tons of stuff from under bushes and out of bins doesn't. May just have been shear quantity. (a whole frigging panetone! 500g they are. )

Squirrel26 · 10/12/2018 15:01

If he’d like to try some lavender soap, to add to the cinnamon and nutmeg, I’ve got some going spare. Angry

Soubriquet · 10/12/2018 15:53

I don’t think I’ve shared a photo of these little monsters in a while

Big shit is 5.5kg. She will be 2 beginning of March

Little shit is about 2.5kg and is 6 months old now

Both are a pair of bastards GrinGrin

Awww Soubriquet, how cute although they do have that don't mess with me look Grin

Soubriquet · 10/12/2018 17:28

Yeah I see that look GrinGrin

I have lesson learned about little shit and being off lead though. Took me fucking 20 mins to catch her!!! I was nearly crying with rage as she was deliberately taunting me at one point. She would stop, look at me and then leg it the second I got near her AngryAngry

BiteyShark · 10/12/2018 19:42

BiteyDog is out for the count. We have just done a long 1-1 training session and he says he is broken Grin

I don't think I will hear from him again tonight.

steppemum · 10/12/2018 21:47

I need your trainer.
If they can break steppedog, I will kiss them.

(although that is probably a threat, not a promise!)

BiteyShark · 11/12/2018 05:43

Well we unfortunately did hear from BiteyDog at 1:30 am when he needed the loo as all the excitement and half a ton of treats had upset his stomach a bit. Not surprising really but bless him.

steppemum · 11/12/2018 12:46

aw, poor bitey dog.

Let's just say that I used all the pooh bags I had on me this morning, and steppedog, has returned to normal size.....
Grin

BiteyShark · 11/12/2018 12:50

Oh no, if steppedog is normal size he might be feeling hungry again. You had better lock your cupboards Grin

thegirlsallgrowedupnow · 11/12/2018 18:08

I have realised that Cocodog reserves certain beds and certain areas for sleeping and resting at different times of the day. Nighttime is posh memory foam bed with blankets in the kitchen, cuddle on our bed in morning, after breakfast on sofa waiting for walk, after walk, in lounge nest bed...back door mat waiting for a play, back on sofa or kitchen floor in hot summer until afternoon walk, sitting in garden if dry waiting for ball play. Supper and settle in lounge nest/outside sofa in summer, stalk whoever is cooking, endure a brush and horror of all horrors occasionally an ear clean and then crash on floor in front of fire and tv huffing a little until it is time to luxuriate in posh bed!
