Sorry forgot to add I don't know his age! Think he's a puppy.

How old? Looks like a pug crossed with a bigger breed

springmachine · 18/06/2018 21:04

No idea - looks like the snout of a pug along with the same sort of fur type crossed with a larger midsize breed.

Hard to tell until he's fully grown though. He looks about 4 months old maybe but that's a total guess - could be 6 months maybe and pretty much fully grown.

Looks lovely though.

Louislovesmud · 18/06/2018 21:04

Ah, cross post. He looks a bit like a jack Russell x pug, but bigger so maybe a bigger terrier type

Raven88 · 18/06/2018 21:05

Pug lab mix? He has the lab face, he is very cute.

furandchandeliers · 18/06/2018 21:05

I'm certain he's got no pug in him as I ha e two and the noses are not similar in any wayGrin

That’s a gorgeous type of dog! Mixed breed - the best, in my opinion.

dancerdancer · 18/06/2018 21:05

Is there staffy in him?
Possibly jack Russell? But then also pug like too?

furandchandeliers · 18/06/2018 21:05

Dh thinks Rhodesian ridgeback but I think their colour is usually deeper?

princesstiasmum · 18/06/2018 21:05

LOOKS LIKE A BOXER PUP TO ME

furandchandeliers · 18/06/2018 21:06

Yes I was thinking mixed breed too Smile

Maybe boxer mix, I didn't think of that until someone said it. Is he yours?

springmachine · 18/06/2018 21:06

He'll be snory, farty and be quite happy to snuggle up on a lap though if that's the case.
Probably quite greedy and if so should be easy to train using treats.

(My vizsla wasn't fussed with food in the puppy classes where all the labs and pugs did anything you asked with a bit of sausage in your palm)

mimibunz · 18/06/2018 21:06

Could be a German Shepherd, Yellow lab cross?

goose1964 · 18/06/2018 21:07

Haven't a clue but it's sooooo cute.

WinkyisbackontheButterBeer · 18/06/2018 21:07

Looks a bit like this pug, spaniel cross

I think now you’ve said it that he’s ridgeback x staffy. Like this one...

Rhodesians are rusty brown colour and usually have a rotty type facial shape with a thick ridge of fur across their back. Not too sure I can see that in him

sallysparrow157 · 18/06/2018 21:08

A puggle maybe (pug beagle cross). Don’t have the airway probs a pug can have but I’d imagine (to put it politely) they would be very food-motivated!

springmachine · 18/06/2018 21:08

Beagle is a good shout. Very similar build body wise

MrsHouseBrownie · 18/06/2018 21:09

Looks like Puggle. A Pug/beagle cross. V popular in this area few years ago. Id say young adult dog, not a puppy.

Louislovesmud · 18/06/2018 21:09

For reference, this is a pic of a "jug"

WinkyisbackontheButterBeer · 18/06/2018 21:10

Actially, more pug- ridge back

sallysparrow157 · 18/06/2018 21:10

Beagles have quite long snouts so with a pug-beagle cross you lose the pug nose

furandchandeliers · 18/06/2018 21:10

I don't see the pug in him, I know he has the black mask but lots of fawn dogs have that.

I can see beagle and lab but who knows how much of which Grin
